See the last lights in your mind flicker out,
See your weakening body crumble with a shout.
Pain will cover the entirety of you,
Your soul will wander as you spy something new:
A light
Far away
Beyond your view.
Know the secrets of the world as it is,
Know its darkest strengths and brightest fears.
Test the waters of the world before you dip,
Or else, you die with the truth inside your lips.
A line
Clad in light
Pulling you.
You open your slumbered eyes and see
Another world, devoid of your reality.
See your little hands as you sway them back and forth,
Then you feel your infant body being cradled due north.
A world
Upside down
Where you've reborn.
