"This is it."

Napa-angat ako nang tingin sa napakalaking gate sa harap ko ngayon. May nagbabantay pa sa labas na mga taong may mga armas. Pati sa loob, may iilan ding tao na nakahawak ng mga baril. It looks like a military base.

Earlier, I asked Robin about where Dr. Valencia is based. But he brought me here. When I asked him why, he stated that he just read it from a newspaper.

"Their security is strong. We can't go in easily," Robin said, which is pretty obvious.

"Wait right there," I said before getting out from the vehicle.

"What—shit," I heard him cussed.

Dumiretso ako sa dalawang tao sa harapan nang napakalaking gate na iyon. They look masculine, I gulped. Napatingin sila sa 'kin. This is it, Creep. For Iko.

"I'm looking for—"

"Miss Creep?" One of them cut my words. My brows creased. "Dr. Valencia is expecting you."

"Uh-huh?" I hesitated. Napalingon ako sa tabi ko kung nasa'n si Robin. He looks clueless also.

They slowly opened the gate and even guided me to go in. Naunang pumasok ang isa sa dalawang nagbabantay. I paused when Robin holds back my arm.

"What?" I asked.

"I just want you to know that..." biglang naputol ang dapat sana'y sasabihin niya. He shook his head. "Let's go."

Sinundan namin ang kaninang naunang pumasok na lalake. I noticed how wide the area is. Pagpasok mo sa gate, mapapansin mo ang iilang mga sundalo—with some aircrafts and armored vehicles.

I began to wonder. Why are they here?

Pumasok pa kami sa isang gusai. Inside of it is another group of soldiers and doctors—scratch that. They're scientist. They looked stressed and panicked. What is happening?

Nahinto kami sa harap nang isang malaking steel door. Beside's a pad. Kinuha no'ng nasa harap ko ang I.D. niya saka sinwipe dito. The steel door opened. I gasped as we entered the room.

It's just another batch of scientist and soldiers inside. Some soldiers are on the highest official because of the medals that's pasted on their suits. Para silang may pinagmemeetingan dahil sa pagkaka-arrange ng chairs nila. In front is a big screen that shows some non-understandable words and such.

In addition, Dr. Ferrous Valencia is also in front, speaking.

"Dr. Valencia," the man who guided me inside here called.

Napalingon lahat sa amin, including the scientist in front. He said something to the people that made them stood up and leave. The doctor signed me to go near him. Nakita ko pa siyang niluwagan ang kaniyang necktie. Ngayon ko lang napansin, he's not wearing his lab suit.

Nakita ko namang umalis na iyong military na nagbantay sa 'kin kanina. I took a deep sigh before walking towards the doctor. In my peripheral vision, I saw Robin followed me.

"I've been expecting you—"

His words are cut when I suddenly punched him. Bigla namang umalingawngaw ang sigaw nang iilang mga staffs sa paligid, at ang tunog ng pagkakasuntok ko. Napahawak siya sa kaniyang panga saka napalingon sa 'kin. He's smirking!

"I hate you," I said while glaring. "Why can't you just leave my freaking life alone? Stop playing shits with me!"

Before answering, he turned his head around us. So do I. I gulped when I noticed that everyone's attention is here—even the soldiers' gun. Heck.
