Natapos ang pag-uusap namin nang walang ibang nagsalita kun'di si Ferrous. We're all watching and listening carefully. Halos mawalan pa kami ng ulirat nang marinig ang huling sinabi niya.

"Kryptoiten is the man of steel's weakness. Maybe those unknown creature's isn't Superman. But remember that I didn't name you that radioactive fragment for nothing."

It's almost 1AM when we decided to prepare Marrah's safe pod and ourselves. Kasalukuyan kong tinititigan ang repleka ko nang maalala si Iko. Suddenly, my heart gets gloomy. Nanalaytay ulit ang sakit na pilit kong kinakalimutan kani-kanina lang.

But I know that I won't, and never, forget him. Hindi kailanman.

I sniffed. If Iko's here, he would ask me to stop crying. If I won't, he would wipe my tears. But he isn't here.

"Tara na," Wield said as he touched my left shoulder. I nodded and followed him.

"Susunod sila sa 'tin," Wield interrupted and pointed the other helicopters behind us. "Kinakabahan ka? Ako rin, e."

"We'll wait for Dr. Valencia," answered Tears using his cold tone.

"Wala pa pala siya? Tas nauna tayo rito. E 'di nagmukha tayong tanga?"

"Shh..." I hushed Wield who keeps on babbling. Goodness, I've never met anyone who's talkative and loud like him before.

"O, ayan na pala sila," Wield announced.

Nalipat naman ang tingin ko sa mga taong naglalakad patungo sa amin. I swallowed when I saw Pyra, Thora, and Robin. Lahat sila'y nakapirming naglalakad patungo sa 'min.

Bigla ko na naman ulit naalala iyong kanina lang. He did it. He's the reason why I'm here. I'm not supposed to be here. Through telepathy, he explained that that's because what happened between us years ago. He sent me the letter with the laboratory's number and address.

He also explained that he didn't cause the scandal that spread. Napa-isip tuloy ako. Then if it wasn't him, who does?

What I thought earlier was cut when someone entered the helicopter straightly. May iilang sundalo ring pumasok sa loob. Tears and Wield also entered the helicopter. When it's my turn to get inside, someone pulled my arm from behind kung kaya't napahinto ako't napabalik sa pinanggalingan.

"Until Dr. Valencia gets back," pag-ooras ni Tears habang tinuturo ang relo niya. Napansin ko naman ang pag-alis ng dalawang babae sa likod ni Robin.
