aeri was sitting comfortably between woojin and guanlin with daniel's coat covering her legs because she was wearing a dress as she hears the announcer saying the nominees for the awards.
wanna one was one of the nominees for that award but they were competing with more stronger nominees.
"and the winner of 'BEST RECORD OF THE YEAR' goes to... WANNA ONE! CONGRATULATIONS!", the announcer exclaimed while the crowd cheered.
the wanna one members were both shocked and frozen. aeri didn't expect anything and was entirely stunned at the trilling announcement.
"what the fuc-- niel oppa your coat!", she snapped out of it and stood up with the members, helping daniel to wear his coat.
guanlin pulled aeri into their group hug before going on stage to receive the award together.
some of the members stood near the mic to gave a thank you speech to wannables while aeri was indeed close to tears. she had no intention of crying but the award itself was too overwhelming.
woojin saw this and pulled aeri into an embrace while she buried her face in his shoulder.
yes, she can reach it, she was wearing heels.
"aigoo, maknae-yah...", woojin stroked her head while hugging her.
to her, that moment felt like a dream come true.
