I looked away from my phone, feeling slightly deflated.
"Where did that smile go? You've been smiling at your phone for the past 20 minutes" I looked up at Minho, who was standing above me.
"Newt keeps calling me his friend over text and facetime. I'm starting to think he actually doesn't want anything more."
"Wait, is this admitting you want something more?" Minho grabbed my shoulders and shook me slightly, making me chuckle.
"Of course I do. We've been flirting for 2 months but there's no point because nothing is ever going to happen." I rubbed my face with my hands and sighed heavily.
"Maybe he's waiting. Until he's here?"
"I guess but he's probably just not interested. I need to stop pining over him. I need to try get him out of my head and start thinking of him as a friend."
Minho shook his head and patted my shoulder "Don't do that without asking him how he feels because he may want something more and be too afraid to ask, like someone else I know."
I rolled my eyes but then realized he's probably right. I'll try talking to him about it tonight.
