Title: Rebound
Written by SSMarie358
Spelling/Grammar: 7/10 – I didn't spot many typos, but there was some stuff going on with the tenses.
Character development: 8/10 – Both leads were fleshed out and compelling, and I got a good sense of the secondary characters too, though some of the latter were a little flat at times.
Plot: 9/10 – The conflict that's been set up is interesting, the book is enjoyable to read, etc. etc. The world around them feels full.
Writing style: 7/10 – The writing is clear and descriptive, though there is use of redundant/overly long phrases, and the sentence lengths need more variation. Dialogue is a little clunky.
Blurb/Summary: 8/10 – it's couched as a good hook, but could be phrased better
Cover: 3/5 – gives me more of a fantasy romance vibe than contemporary
Total score: 43/50. Good job!

Title: Running From You
Written by DanPaul01
Spelling/Grammar: 6/10 – strange things going on with tenses
Character development: 9/10 – it's really good! Do wish our leading man didn't feel a little blank on occasion, though – but the heroine and the supporting characters make up for it by feeling realistic
Plot: 7/10 – the characters have been set up in a way that I'm interested in their dynamics, and I don't mind the slow start. I'm unclear on what Atticus finds interesting about Lauren, though, and without that we're missing some motivation
Writing style: 6/10 – straightforward and clear, but the lack of contractions and chunks of info-dumping here and there threw me off
Blurb/Summary: 8/10 – stakes and stuff nicely laid out, though some phrases required repeat read-throughs to understand.
Cover: 4/5 – very much on genre, like the matching with the other books in the series. Not a fan of how the author's name is placed
Total score: 40/50. Good job!

Title: Burn for You
Written by bidiyakdamian
Spelling/Grammar: 8/10 – spelling and grammar is good, but there are some run-on sentences
Character development: 6/10 - We've got a lot of circumstance and whatnot, but I'm not sure I could pin down what exactly kind of people the MCs are – though we do get clearer characterization on the side characters
Plot: 8/10 – the plot is intriguing. There's bits where I can't really figure out what's going on (discussion of Sam/Eric in the second chapter, etc.) I would be interested in finding out what happens next, though
Writing style: 9/10 – we've got a good balance of description, exposition, and action. The flowery proses works reasonably well. Word choices are a little odd in some places, though
Blurb/Summary: 4/10 – conveys the conflict, but uses a lot of vague stock phrases. Don't much see the point of the excerpt.
Cover: 3/5 – like the concept of the fading letters, but makes it a little hard to read
Total score: 38/50. Good job!
