Contests make up a huge part of Wattpad. A lot of the undiscovered writers often join contests (mostly hosted by WP users) to help get some exposure. It's also a good way to get some feedback on their writing.
As a reader who might be interested in looking for more books, reviewing, or getting into critiques, judging in a contest might be a good fit. You find so many great books and you also build up your skills as a critic or reviewer. Note: you might also get paid in follows!
Not only that, but it's a good way to meet awesome people and make some awesome friends.
