If you're a man, it's inappropriate to be the first to offer your hand for a handshake to a lady. Likewise, it's inappropriate for a younger person to be the first to extend their hand for a handshake to an older person. ( This is culture based )

If someone is sitting with their legs extended, do not cross or jump over their leg. Tell them to make way for you. Also, don't try to make your way in the middle of two people having a conversation. Make your way behind them or simply tell them to excuse you.

Do not offer your left hand to receive or give something to an older person. Use the right hand. ( This is culture based )

When someone right next to you sneezes, say 'bless you'. Though some would prefer to say this to people they already know rather than people they haven't spoken with before. And when someone says that to you, say 'Thank you' in reply.
