Chapter 11 - Hazard

It been a few days since the appearance of Kilgore rose the heads of all of Team Flash, they've been on their guard ever since then. Right now Savitar allowed Cait to convince him to hang out with the team  though to the suspicions of everyone. Savitar sat outside on the bench with Joe, Iris and Cecile whilst Barry, Cait and Cisco was inside playing Laser tag with some of the kids there, this was more than uncomfortable for him as Cecile gave him a glaring look "I can't believe we even gave you another chance after what you did." She said, with Joe next to her afraid he'll do something drastic, but to his surprise Savitar just sat there with his arms folded as he always seemed to do a lot "yeah well don't think your the only one who's surprised" he told her calmly as soon after the rest of them returned. They all sat themselves down ready to eat their meal "you better watch yourself Chad, come at me on the paintball field next time I'll kick your little a-aaa hey miss McConnell, how you doing? Chad's a treasure, he really is." He said quickly as a red headed woman can be seen walking after her son. "Look at all this junk, guys I'm really sorry If the pipes in the house weren't making this weird annoying sound I would've had you all over for dinner" Cecile said to everyone as Joe was giving everyone their own individual meals "squeaky pipes in the West house what a surprise" Barry said sarcastically as Iris and Savitar both nodded with agreement "yeah yeah you mean the..." Iris said as she gave a squeaky impression of the pipes as Cecile nodded "that's been doing that for about...18 years?" Savitar told them as Barry and Iris nodded "every house has a personality ours just likes to be heard" Joe told them as everyone was laughing at the moment they were having, but then a notification alert broke everyone's attention "oh my gosh they broke up, the Wexler Walkerlits broke up" Iris exclaimed as she high fived Barry "ahh who are the Wexler Walker legs lits? And why are we happy that their love is dead?" Cisco asked confused at their names. As Iris was explaining why herself and Barry were happy, Savitar felt himself grow tired of this conversation that's why when everyone's phones got a breach alert he was practically dying to hurt something. Himself and Barry ran Caitlin, Iris and Cisco to Star Labs where Harry was seen walking out of the open beach, he obviously hadn't paid attention to Savitar in the room as he gave Wally a small box with a holographic message on it to him from Jesse. But as soon as Harry handed him the box the message began to malfunction and turn into static. "What is this?" Wally asked still grinning "break.. break up-cube" Harry told him with no care in his voice. "Well a break up-cube...is exactly what it sounds like" Harry started going on a rant about what a break up-cube is and why Jesse is breaking up with Wally "you know your amazing and you were her..." he coughed awkwardly "first" he said gently as Caitlin's eyes widened, Barry rubbed his eyes and Savitar raised his brow slightly "but you don't need that right, your a tough guy aren't you?" Harry tapped Wally on the side of the shoulder "y-yeah...excuse me" Wally told them as he walked off to the side. "Doesn't want the cube..I don't blame him" just then an alert rang all throughout Star Labs, it was a robbery in progress at Central City bank and Barry sped off to check it out "we're not done" Caitlin told Harry threateningly "what?" He asked as everyone started walking into the Cortex "hey is anyone gonna tell me why Savitar is here with you guys?" Harry called out to them, running after them.

An hour later Savitar, Cisco and Harry was walking throughout the city attempting to find the area where Becky Sharp, the new meta human, was exposed to dark matter "stop hovering, I know how to read a dark matter scanner" Cisco argued with Harry as Savitar rolled his eyes "not from where i see you don't" harry retorted back "oh good one, don't you have another speedster's heart to break" Cisco answered as they both looked towards Savitar who was silent "hey don't look at me, I ain't getting involved" he chuckled softly as Barry sped up with them "sorry I'm late, me and Iris just lost two wedding venues in under twenty four hours" Barry told them sarcastically "ah bad juju" Cisco answered Harry. "Give me that" he answered back as he snatched the scanner off Cisco, walking forward towards a familiar spot. As the beeping of the scanner intensified, Harry stopped in his tracks which in turn made Cisco, Barry and Savitar all bump into him and each other "here right here...this is where Becky Sharp was exposed to dark matter" Harry announced as Barry, Savitar and Cisco looked all around them "hang on if your scans are accurate tell us how there is nothing within miles of here even capable of creating dark matter" Cisco shot at Harry as Barry and Savitar looked at each other in awe "there was three weeks ago" Savitar said lightly, walking out to the street "this is where I came out the speed force. This is where the portal opened" Barry told them as he rubbed his temple "and a wave of dark matter washed out with you, god knows how many meta humans you created" Harry said "my best guess...a bus load" Cisco answered him as they all watched each other, silently.

Hours later an alarm was blasting through Star Labs as everyone made there into the cortex "guys the quantum field is getting higher....how did Hazard get so powerful?" Iris asked as there was a transmission of a flight that's lost an engine and was going down "the more good luck she experiences the more bad luck she spreads" Savitar put in his input "exactly so West where is she now?" Harry asked Iris "she went back to work" she answered "guys if Becky keeps winning then more bad luck will keep spreading" Barry told them hurriedly "ok keep calm nothing is going wrong here" Cisco added as just then a loud blaring alarm could be heard that rumbled the entire building. "Guys the particle accelerator has just been activated...its gonna explode. " Iris added as Barry put on his flash suit and sped to the casino, Cisco and Harry ran to the pipeline and Savitar checked where the quantum field was spreading over and saw a particular location he needed to keep safe. He picked up Iris' phone and dialed Joe "Joe what's happened?" He asked in a rush "the doors jammed and the handle practically crumbled apart, Cecile is stuck inside" he told him in a rush "ok just tell her to stand back as you do too" he told him as he hung up and ran towards the West house at full speeds bracing himself as he slammed right into the door, smashing it to pieces, tearing off the hinges as he grabbed ahold of Cecile and walked her over to Joe. Just as Joe and Cecile got out of the house, wires and cables started to collapse out the walls and hit the flooded floor, electrifying everything including Savitar, causing the shocks to flood through him. "Savitar!" Joe yelled out as Cecile held him back. Savitar screamed in agonising pain as just then the shocks stopped and soon, Savitar collapsed to the floor, his body burned and blistered, twitching and smoking but still breathing.

Savitar laid in the hospital bed, recovered mostly from his injuries aside from some minor burns and lacerations on his skin, his body was nearly back to normal. His eyes fluttered open slightly as he heard the news about there being twelve metas but then another thing was mentioned, Wally was leaving. He groaned slightly and dressed himself, walking out as he slipped on his black jacket. Wally was hugging everyone goodbye, Savitar couldn't deny Wally was proving himself to be a true hero. "You'll never lose me dad besides I'm a speedster, you need me and I'll come  running." He told him as he hugged him tightly, tears streaming from their eyes. At last Wally turned to Savitar, slowly walking over to him "I hate you. For everything you did....but....you saved my dad's life...Cecile's too, you gave me my powers as well I...what I'm trying to say is...after today...I know I can trust you as one of us" Wally told him as he held out his hand. Savitar glanced down and then back at him before grabbing ahold of his hand "till next time Kid Flash" he smirked slightly as Wally returned the smirk, giving one last wave to everyone and leaving the cortex. "Now that...is over...time to say my goodbye" Savitar was the next to speak out, taking everyone by surprise "w-what? Your leaving?" Barry asked folding his arms, watching him carefully "only for a week or two...I just....after today...I realized I'm not immortal...and I need more time to concentrate on being myself instead of trying to overcome you" he told them all "where will you even go?" Caitlin asked, not looking him In the eye. "To the island of Madagascar, its quiet and secluded and should give me more than enough space to handle my rage and other problems I'm dealing with." He told them as no one dared to move or say a word "everyone has their own distinct path, it's good to finally see you taking yours." Barry told him as he shook his hand "I'll be back when I can" he told him as he took one last glance at Caitlin and sped off, leaving only the sound of crackling lightning.

A few moments pass and Savitar skidded into the deep jungle of Madagascar and found an old ruin temple and decided to make this his area. He inhaled sharply and pulled out a glowing stone, it was frosty white and  glowing brightly, it was the Philosopher's Stone. As he pulled it out he felt all of his worse nightmares and fears come all together. He fell to his knees, clutching the stone as his lightning began to surround him, but it was now a pale moonlight white, instead of its usual orange colour. Savitar let his mind calm as his breathing slowed down.

It's time.
