Hello, Foodies!
Mardi Gras is around the corner and it's usually a custom, for many around the world to keep Fridays solely around seafood and there's nothing more seafoody than shrimp. Let's go!

What we need:
28 shrimp (4 skewers with 7 each)
4 tsp McCormick Cajun seasoning
4 oz lemon butter
12 oz bbq butter sauce (Guess what, I'll put you to work and give you a quick recipe to follow)
20 oz Jasmine Rice, cooked
4 Tbsp green onions, thin cut (for garnish)
2 lemon wheels (for garnish)
garlic bread (optional, for serving when rice is not enough ;) )

How do we do it?
Season and grill shrimp skewers, basting with lemon and butter.

Heat BBQ Butter Sauce ( I promise, the BBQ sauce recipe will follow at the end)

How to serve it:
Mound rice in center of pasta bowl. Remove shrimp from skewers and randomly arrange around rice. Pour bbq sauce over shrimp. Sprinkle all with green onions. Garnish with twisted lemon wheel on top of rice. You can also play extra generous with the carbs and serve with a bit of garlic bread.

BBQ BUTTER SAUCE!!!

11 oz whole butter
1 tsp ground cayenne pepper
2 tsp ground black pepper, coarse grind
2 tsp oregano
2 tbsp garlic, chopped
1 tsp sea salt
2 tsp thyme

Combine all the ingredients for the BBQ Butter Sauce over medium heat and stir once in a while. Once ready you can keep it refrigerated for a week.
