Marinette ran towards the bakery, tears in her eyes. She couldn't believe it. Had Adrien really kept this information to himself? Had he really thought it would be a good idea?!
Mad and upset at the same time, she ran fast, wanting to cross the road and rush to talk to her real parents. She could hear Adrien calling her name from her back, but she didn't listen and instead continued to run.
The next thing she heard was the sound of a car trying to furiously brake. But it was too late. The last thing she heard was her name being called out, before her eyes shut and blood exploded out of her body.
Marinette was dead.
