I sighed as the last episode of Trinkets finished. I switched the TV off and made my way around the house checking that every door was locked and every window was closed. I checked Kairo's room, sighing when i realised he wasn't there to keep me company with his babbling about toys

It was well over midnight actually, and i hadn't gotten my check up from Wendy. Knowing she'd be up i ring her on facetime

"Hello there love" she answered cheerfully "what's got you looking so down"
"your son" i said cracking open a bottle of red wine
"what's he done now" she asked
"well maybe i'm overreacting or reading too much into it but he answered a call today outside, and then left in a hurry and he's still not home" i replied
"yes" she said
"yes?"
"yes you're reading into it too much" she said
"but-
"but nothing" she cut off "look love, the secret to Tayler and I's fathers marriage lasting this long is not reading into every little detail too much, you'll give yourself grey hairs and wrinkles and you're far too pretty for that"

i blushed

"now i've got a 7am date with Kai and disneyland tomorrow and yes i'll send you pictures and videos now put that glass in the fridge and go to bed and stop worrying" she scolded
"okay" i smiled
"i love you good night sweet dreams" she said before hanging up

I ran a hand through my hair before putting it up in a bun. I made my way upstairs and put my phone in the charger and went to bed.
