the tension was thick as Tayler proceeded to make himself cereal, knowing very well i'd fixed him a plate of food.

"i made you a plate, it's in the microwave" i said
"i'm good with cereal" he mumbled
"okay look, can you 2 stop being petty and talk!" Cynthia snapped "Tayler why exactly are you angry at Melody because you saw the end part of the argument you don't know what happened"
"what happened was her and that Miguel guy have something going on between them and she's hiding it from me! i thought we said no secrets!" Tayler snapped
"y'know i should buy you a trampoline" i said to Tayler
"what?" he said confused
"because you like jumping to conclusions so much" i said standing up

Tayler scoffed

"you see, can't even have a serious conversation without you pulling some shit like that! tell me the fucking truth!" he yelled in my face
"you better back the fuck up before i ruin your ass on this kitchen floor" i said
"tell me the fucking truth Melody"
"you want the truth? Miguel's parents and my parents used to joke around about arranging our marriage. Miguel took it too seriously and began stalking me. He got really abusive and that's why i moved to the Hype House for the Summer! to get away from him!" i snapped

Tayler's eyes widened as he backed up from me

"this is why i don't tell you the truth Tayler!" i snapped as tears rolled down my eyes "cause you can't handle that shit!"

"the minute you see something you don't like you get mad at me and sulk like a little baby and you never ask me what happened. You shut me out and you have no idea how fücking draining that shit is!" i said sniffing

Tayler pulled me into his chest, wrapping his arms around me and letting me cry into his chest. I never got to talk about these experiences with anyone so getting it off my chest felt relieving.
