"i can't believe he made you sleep on the couch" Ale laughed as i cracked my back
"shut up" i said through gritted teeth

I returned to the bacon i was frying, hoping i wouldn't overcook it. It was 11am, and Tayler still hadn't come downstairs, i knew he was up because he could never get a full night of sleep without me.

"well, we're taking going to shop for new paint with Kai, in case you and Tayler need to y'know" my mom said "talk"
"i doubt, he seems pretty mad at me" i shrugged putting some bacon on Cynthia's plate
"well, i'll be here to mediate" Cynthia smiled
"just make sure you stay safe please babe" Ale said kissing her forehead
"what do you mean, Tayler and I are never violent" I said
"rememeber the one time you threw a vase at his head" my dad said
"or last year at the barbecue, she threw the lemonade jug at him" Ale added
"you still owe me a new picture frame by the way-
"okay. i get it, i can get a bit hot but Cynthia here, will keep me levelheaded" i smiled

My mom shrugged as Kairo ran over to her, i gave him a kiss on the cheek, telling him to behave and promising him ice cream. They gave their goodbye before leaving. I sat down with Cynthia and began eating

"Goodmorning" Tayler said
"morning"
