"i think it's funny how you always wear the same 3 pairs of shirts and sweats yet when it's time to leave you think you're gonna change 3 million times" Tayler laughed from the bed
"shut up, i don't wanna look ugly in front of my extended family" i said grabbing 3 dresses
"babe, you know you'll always be beautiful in my eyes" he smiled
"aww that would be reassuring if everyone looked at me through your eyes" i said tapping his cheek before grabbing some heels

Tayler sighed as he grabbed the rest of his essentials and shoved them into his gym bag, grabbing my suitcase and rolling it downstairs. I zipped my travel bag up before making my way outside and locking the door

"did you put Kairo's bag in the back?" i asked hopping into the car
"yeah, and i packed his food in case they don't cater to him" he answered backing out the driveway
"I don't think i'm ready to go to this" i admitted
"why babe? i mean it's been 6 months since you've visited Jersey, it's not that serious" Tayler shrugged
"because baby, it's not just my mom and dad and brother. it's extended family's. My dads side, some i havn't seen in years. One of my aunts i havn't seen since i was 3 and i'm 21 now" i said "i can feel their judging eyes already"
"look, I'll be by your side the entire time okay. don't worry, i love you my love" Tayler smiled

I sighed and leaned against the window, although Tayler would be there, there was something that i could feel brewing in the pits of my stomach and i knew this birthday would be the reason it came out
