Hey readers! Thank you for giving this story a chance. I am in love with this concept and story I have created. For me, what makes me love this so much is how raw and real it is. The emotions of the characters are real. And taking real life experiences and inspirations in general from various media works also make this story so special. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the story and the realism in the characters. I'm hoping to get chapters out frequently (once a week or every two weeks depending). Enjoy!

The room was filled with a lot of noise. People were talking, laughing and telling jokes. It was as if there was a silent buzz going on with all the students. As if they knew something that they haven't been told yet.

As the students interacted with each other, a teacher arrived at the door to the classroom. "Okay settle down everyone" Abbie announced as she entered the room. The class quietened down as she put her stuff on her desk and prepared to start her lesson.

"Right, I have big news" Abbie said, making everyone look at her. "You leaving?" Rebecca mumbled from near the back. "Unfortunately for you, no. Sorry to disappoint" Abbie replied. Suddenly, someone burst through the door. "Lexie!" Abbie jumped, holding her chest as her heart raced a little. "Sorry I'm late! Oh, sorry for scaring you Abbie" Lexie said with a smile. "It's fine just go sit down" Abbie sighed.

"What was you doing? Snogging your boyfriend?" Rebecca sneered. "Fuck off bitch" Lexie shot back. "Settle down" Abbie told them as Lexie sat down across the room from Rebecca. Rebecca had a grin on her face. Lexie gave her the middle finger and turned to face Abbie.

"Right, as I was saying. I have some big news. In about two months time we are going to be having a competition. Archive is a big fashion magazine in this city as you all know and they have contacted us and said they are letting you design an original outfit to be modeled by yourselves which will then be photographed by the photography class down the hall. The best outfit, model and photo will be featured in one of their future magazines" Abbie revealed. Everyone gasped and started talking excitedly. This was huge. This wasn't just huge but it was a massive opportunity for two students.

"Is this for real?" Lexie asked over everyone. "Yes Lexie, one hundred percent" Abbie replied. "Big deal" Rebecca stated in an uninterested tone, crossing her arms and sitting back in her chair. "Just because you don't care Rebecca, doesn't mean everyone else doesn't" Abbie stated.

"Yeah, this is a dream come true to me!" Lexie added. "Well good for you" Rebecca snapped back. "Enough you two. Right, I don't have all the details right now but when I do, I will let you all know. Now, we are going to finish off what we started last lesson. So get what you was doing and continue. Don't forget, I want this finished by the end of today" Abbie revealed.

About fifteen minutes went by. The students were working hard on different things. Some were writing in some books while others were playing around with some materials for their work. Lexie saw Abbie was by herself looking through some work.

She walked over to where Abbie was sitting. "Hey, can I ask you something?" Lexie asked. "Sure Lexie" Abbie replied, looking at her. "You said that we would be pairing up with the photography class. Is it Simon's class?" Lexie said. "Yes, that's right. You'll be in pairs" Abbie revealed. Lexie smiled instantly. "Do we get to choose our partner from Simon's class?" Lexie asked eagerly.

"I'm not sure yet, I think we will give you all the option to pair up if you want. But we'll figure that out when the time comes I suppose" Abbie pointed out. "Okay, thanks!" Lexie replied happily, walking back to her table.

As soon as Lexie's lesson ended, she left the classroom quickly. "Running to find your boyfriend?" Rebecca called. "Stick a rock in your gob Reb" Lexie fired back as she left the room. Lexie hurried down the corridor and stopped at a classroom door. She looked through and saw it were empty besides a student her age sitting with her back to her working away.
