Chapter 1: Rumors

Kiana was looking for the the male. She wanted to thank him for last time but he was no where to be found.

"Bronya is shocked to find you here."

Kiana turned around to find Bronya and Mei behind her.

"What are you doing Kiana?" Mei asked

"I'm looking for the that guy."

"We are too." Bronya said

"We heard rumors about him." Mei said

Mei told Kiana they rumors Bronya and her had heard. Kiana was shocked at what she heard. They continued there searched. The walled down the hall and saw a room with a cell. They saw the male from before. He was reading a book. His weapon was hung on the wall.

"Well this is a surprise." He said

The three girls slowly creeped in the room.

"I don't bite." He smirked

The girls walked closer to the cell.

"Hi. I'm..."

"No need to introduce yourselves. I already know who you three are." He cut Kiana off.

"Why are you locked up?" Mei asked

"Because I'm powerful."

"Bronya heard rumors about you."

The male smirked, while still reading his book.

"That I'm probably the next Kevin. I have the power to kill anything or everything. I mostly feared by everyone."

The girls nodded. He closed his book and turned to the girls.

"Well those are rumors. Some are true."

"Well tell us about yourself." Kiana commented

"Every well. I'm Mars. I enjoy reading. I wield a scythe. Mhmm. What else." He stopped to think. "I'm an SSS rank Valkyire I guess. That's what I been called until they found a popper name for me. I know what I am, but I refuse to tell people."

The three girls looked at each other.

"Do you think you be free if you told them what you really are?" Mei asked

"Well maybe. But I liked being caged."

"Why?" Bronya asked

"Because I'm heartless when I'm fighting. Being me is difficult. When I saved you three, I wanted to keep fighting, but I killed all the Honkai beast. I'm blood thirsty."

"What are you three doing here?"

They turned around to see a gray haired female in a maid outfit standing there with anger.

"Rita."

"You guys need to leave. You three don't belong here."

"Miss Rita it's okay, they wasn't bothering me."

Rita walker closer.

"That's not the point. You broke out."

"You know who set me free. Why can't I have friends?"

"Mars. I mean Rose."

"Don't call me by that name."

"What name?" Kiana was confused

"Rose. It's a code name because I'm dangerous. They don't want my real name to be out."

"Mars. You have to obey the rules we have set for you." Rita said

The male just rolled his eyes and turned around.

"You guys should go. You heard to much for the day. I won't tell Miss Himeko about this."

The three girls nodded and left.

"I bring your lunch in a bit."

Mars opened his book and nodded. Rita felt the boy's pain. He enjoyed the girls company but he's not allowed to make friends, because he is dangerous.

"How are you?"

That voice calm him down.

"Durandal."

The boy turned around.

"I see you got into an argument with Rita."

"It wasn't an argument."

Durandal moved closer.

"I can set you free anytime, you have urges."

"Durandal..I can't."

"Don't be like that."

Durandal opened the cell. She grabbed the boy and pinned him to the wall.

"You need me."

"Durandal."

She kissed the boy.

"Will you listen to me?" She asked softly

"Yes."

She smiled.

"Good. I need your help with a mission."
