Mars was reading and casually eating chips. Someone was knocking on his door.
"Who is it?"
"They girls."
"It's open."
He didn't look at them he continued to read his book. They kinda notice his cell was opened.
"Do you know why I like being caged?" He asked them
"No." Mei replied
"Because I control the beast inside me."
They saw a smirk creep on his face.
"He turned me into something, people fear."
The girls wanted to walk closer to him but they were scared.
"You can come closer. I'm not going to bite."
They move closer but stopped at the cell door. They notice he something when he moved.
"You have a tail?!"
"Yeah. I just hide it." He muttered.
Bronya moved closer and gently stroke his tail. He started purring. Then his ears popped out.
"Bronya thinks you are cute." She said titling her head to the side.
"P-please stop...."
"Why?"
"I don't want want to purr anymore."
Bronya stopped.
"Are you a kitten?" She asked
"No. I grew up in Yae Village. I not a fox. I was a human until the beast and me became one."
"Can you stop reading and talk to us?"
He put his book down and turned to them. They noticed his eyes were azure blue.
"What do you guys want to know?" He asked
The girls were quiet for a second.
"What are you?" Mei asked softly
The boy sat there. He pondered for a minute.
"I can't tell you. Just know I'm just like you."
"That doesn't help." Kiana huffed
"Bronya believes she understand."
The boy looked at Bronya.
"Can to tell them?"
"You are a-"
"Stop!"
Everyone looked at the door.
"Hey lady Fu Hua."
"Do not finish that sentence Bronya. You will cost utter destruction."
"You ruin the fun."
The looked at Mars. He had an evil smirk. They notice he had fangs.
"We allow you to be free, and you was about to be unleashed!" Fu Hua yelled
"Whatever. I be a good boy then."
"I know what he is, but we can't say it in front of him."
"Let's talk in the lab. Rita watch him."
Rita came from the shadows.
"Yes Lady Fu Hua."
They girls left.
"Your secret is about to come out." Rita said looking at the door.
"Yeah. But I won't be unleashed, until they are desperate."
"I'm glad you are on our side."
