Chapter 13: An Old flame vs New flame

Rita sat next to Mars bed. She never left his side. She is his maid of course, but she has a deeper connection with him beside being his maid.

"Otto wanted me to protect you, Kevin wants me to protect you, yet I can't protect you." Rita mutter.

Rita smiled has she grabbed the boy's hand.

"When I need to protect you, you fight and I just watch. I don't know why."

"Rita...do you got a minute?"

She looked at the door and saw Fu Hua.

"Sure."

Fu Hua walked in closed the door.

"What's the your actual relationship with Mars?"

"I'm his maid."

"He likes Kevin....does he like you also?"

Rita looked at the boy and looked back at Fu Hua.

"I'm not entirely sure."

"How do you feel about him?"

Rita looked at the boy and smiled.

"I don't know."

Fu Hua fixed her glasses.

"The boy has a lot going on. Do you really want to be put though that?"

With that said Fu Hua rubbed the unconscious boy shoulder and left.

Rita pondered what the class president said. She didn't know what to feel.

The maid felt her hands tighten. She looked at the boy and saw he was slowly opening his eyes.

"Mars?"

"Hey Rita." He weakly said

He slowly sat up in the bed.

"Why are you still holding my hand?"

Rita let go and smiled at the boy.

"I was just joking." Mars laughed

The maid didn't say anything.

"H-how my sister?"

"She's fine...she is still out...they believe she's in the coma..like you were."

Mars was trying to get out bed, but Rita stopped him.

"I know you want to see your sister, but you need to know something."

"What?"

"She in the lab...they are testing her stigmata."

Mars jumped out of bed, but quickly fell to the floor. His body was still weak after the fight.

Rita helped him up.

"You need to rest."

"I want to see my sister."

Rita shook her head.

"I can't allow that."

She helped the boy back into the bed.

"Your health is important to me. You need your rest."

Mars sighed.

"Fine."

There was a knock at the boy's infirmary door.

"Come in." He yelled

Rita and Mars saw Kevin walk in, but he wasn't alone.

"Hey. How are you doing?"

"I'm fine..but who is with you?" Mars asked

Kevin smirked.
