Chapter 3: Mystery Student

 After class Mei, Bronya and Kiana followed Mars. He was walking and casually reading his book. He entered the training room.

He sat down on the floor and read his book. Then Rita approached him.

"Shouldn't you be in your room now?"

"By room, you mean cell. Then yeah I should, but I want to enjoy being out. Plus I was told I can walk around and enjoy the academy now since I'm going be a student."

Rita chuckled and sat next to him.

"Why are you reading in the training room?"

"I wanted to watch you train."

"Very well then."

"Before you train. Can I rest my head in your lap?" He asked

"Sure. But you might fall asleep."

The girls wanted to awed that he's acting like a baby.

"I watch you train, then I take a nap."

Rita rubbed his head. Then went to change into a battesuit. He watched Rita train. The continued to watch him. After Rita finished she sat next to Mars and he rested her head in her lap.

"What are you girls doing?"

They turned around and saw Himeko was behind them.

"Nothing." Kiana blurted out

"We were following Rose." Bronya said like nothing was wrong.

"Ohh. Seems like fun. Let me join."

They saw Mars get from Rita's lap.

"See you later Rita."

She kissed his cheek. "I bring you food later."

"Okay."

He left the training room. The girls went pass Rita undetected. Mars was walking around the campus. The girls followed his every move.

He stopped at the library.

"He enjoys books." Mei whispered

The Girls followed him deeper into the library. They saw him pick up a fighting book and a history book. He started walking to check the books out. They girls quickly broke away so they won't be spotted. He didn't see them luckily.

"Hey Mars."

They saw Durandal.

"Hey."

"It's good to see you."

"Same goes to you."

"More books I see."

"Yeah."

"Well you better hurry back to your room. Rita should be there soon."

"Okay."

They hugged and he left. Durandal notice the girls.

"Why are you following him?" She asked them.

"We are learning about him." Kiana replied

They left the library and continued following Mars, but he was no where to be found.

"Are you guys done?"

They turned around and saw Mars behind them.

"I know you guys been following me."

"How?"

"I have the beast of yang inside me. He told me I was being followed."

The girls were in shock.

"Why were you guys following me?"

"We just wanted to learn more about you?" Mei said shyly

"You can just talk to me."

They girls put there head down.

"Anyway I have to go."

Mars walked away. The girls just looked at each other. They felt bad, and wanted to make things right.

"You do know, all he does is read, until he has a mission?" Durandal asked them

"We figured but we want to know about his past and stuff." Kiana said

Durandal laughed.

"I don't even know that. I just know the beast inside him."

"What is he?" Mei asked

"You have to find out yourself. He knows it too. He just doesn't like talking about it."

With that said Durandal walked away. They wanted to know what is he. They had to find out themselves.
