Chapter 8: Herrscher Vs Herrscher

Mei was preparing for fight exam.

"Are you nervous?"

She looked up at the white haired girl.

"Yeah."

Mei was thinking about what Mars said. She didn't want to fight. She had to fight for the exam, but in her heart she didn't want to. She feels will cause too much pain. Pain for him and her.

"Well you do have an advantage."

"What do you mean?" Mei was puzzled

"His battlesuit is weak to lighting."

"H-How you found that out?"

"He's sleeping next room."

"The next exam will commits. Raiden Mei and Mars Rose come to the battle field."

"Good luck."

Kiana kissed Mei cheek. The girl left. Mei walked out to the battle field. He saw Mars sitting on the ground. They gazed at each other.

"Are you ready?" The boy asked

"Yes."

Mei took fighting stance. Red lighting suddenly strike next to her. Mars held his scythe against his neck. Black petals flowed around him.

"You go this little brother!"

Mars glared at his sister in the stands.

"HEY! Don't call me little!" He was jumping and swinging his arms like a chibi anime character.

"Your are adorable but you will lose."

The boys turned back to his opponent.

"Make the first move."

Mei charged at him. She swung her katana. Mars intercepted her attack with his scythe.

"You're fast."

"You are too."

The broke apart.

"Why are you not in your Herrscher suit."

"Who says I'm not."

The boy charged at the girl. He swung his scythe fast, but Mei was faster, dodging every attack.

She saw an opening and quickly cut him. Mars was unfazed. Mei kicked him back. He flew into a wall.

"That was fun." Mei gloated

"I knew I should've finished you quickly."

Mars was crawling out the wall. His appearance change.

Everyone was shocked. His scythe was gone.

"This is my turn form now."

He had his wolf minigun. His ears was showing. His fangs was poking out.

"Let's do this."

He ran like a wolf. The minigun was firing at Mei. She was swinging her katana cutting the bullets. Mars disappeared from her sights.

Images of Kevin appeared and attack Mei from all directions. She quickly ended the illusions.

"Where are you?"

"Above!"

Mars crashed down and an explosion erupted.

"I win."

Mars walked away.

"Not quite." Mei rosed back up

Mars was shocked.

Mei called her dragon. The dragon showed up.

"Goodbye."

The dragon blasted Mars. A black cloud of smoke surrounded the battlefield.

"You lose."

Mei started to laugh.

"N-No."

She looked and saw the boy was slowly getting back to his feet.

"I will not lose!"

"Oh no. He's losing control." Theresa yelled.

Mei was shock. Everyone felt a powerful energy was rising.

"You can win. You have me."

Mars heard a voice in his head.

Images of Kevin surround every inch of the battle field.

Mars called the beast Huodou. He rode the beast. Mei called her dragon. She got on the dragon's back.

They charged at each other.

"You're battle suit is weak to lighting how are you still standing!?!"

The boy ignored her. His minigun starting firing. The illusions surrounded Mei.

"LET'S END THIS!" They both yelled.

An explosion echoed though out the room. Smoke filled the air. Everyone was coughing.

They saw one figure starting.

"H-he won." Someone yelled out.

"N-No Mei is still standing."

Mei and Mars were both heavily injured. Suddenly both of them collapsed on the ground.

"It's a draw!"

Kiana, Bronya, Fu hua, Rita, and Durandal jumped from the stands to help there friends.

"B-brother.." The male Herrscher sister jumped onto the field to help her brother

Scarlet help Bronya to lifted Mars up.

"S-sis..I think I over did it."

The boy passed out in Scarlet and Bronya's arm.

"K-Kiana."

"Mei."

"He is powerful."

"It's over. It was a draw."

"No it wasn't. I used an illusion."

Mei passed out. Kiana looked at Fu Hua and Rita.

"So he won?"

"No." Durandal said.

They looked at her.

"Both of them used an Illusion. It was a draw."
