Snow has fallen on the crisp walk
I stood along hoping someone would talk
Loneliness, this is what I am
Alone in the darkness, everything was the same
And I was the one they call Winter
I was destitute and solid with hunger
Cried all day long, hoping someone would see
But no one did, except that one poor fleaHe was vibrant, smiling as always
Followed me still, like the sun with its rays
Shooed him off, did everything I could
But nothing came to me, I don't know what would
He was the one they call Summer
He was kind, happy like one Christmas drummer
Smiled all day long, hoping to get my attention
But I didn't and it caused me quite an agitationDays passed by with dullness and excitement
As he followed me to his heart's content
So I asked him what is it, to give me a clue
He answered, 'Simple, it's because I like you'
My world turned upside-down
His words jumbled like a circus and a clown
Ran in circles all day long
Hoping my brain would work once moreThe next day it was embarrassing still
As you walk up to me and kissed away my chill
Summer shone over cold winter
And I fell in an innocent slumber
The cold and loneliness disappeared
As your face popped up and in my face have seared
Up to this day, he continued to smile
And when I, winter, fell in love, it will never be fragileThis is one cheesy poem, I know.
