The sun shining on our face as we stared We stared with our eyes as far as we dared Separated, yet brought back again I have forgotten and your sins are forgiven We have enjoyed a moment's clarity When all is gone, we found peace in our uniformity I have sought you from the ends of society Until I saw you face to face clearly You were sad, but I can make you happy I can help you break free from the agony Make you laugh and forget your misery But, it's too sad to see that you have forgotten me
I shielded you innocent eyes Gave you everything when I hear your sighs Asked me to your heart's desire I gave in, without question, without expire When you've loaded me with worries I have smiled back and happiness I carry You demand things that I should give And I did, I did it so you could live You are beautiful as the morning sun I have treasured you alone and no one I stayed, I did, even though there's pain I did it for you, even though I'm going insane
Then you are nowhere to be found again I found you in the trash, problems have arisen I have loved you, treated you as mine I have given you things that made gold sublime You should have stayed Should have willingly obeyed But you are stubborn Too hard to understand You are wishing to never have been born Yet, I should stay, even though you can't I should stay and love you again I should have loved you more than could be given
What made you suddenly turn away? Was it greed? Pride? or even shame? You are beautiful and we fell for each other But what happens now that there's no forever? Should we wait and should we separate Clear our conscience and forget the hate? Or should I just turn my back, cast my face away To never see me again, what would you say? I ask questions yet you do not answer Shall I prove that our ties I meant to sever? Shall I prove that a thing called love exist? Or shall I bury that love we can't resist?

This is one of the standard poems I made and once again, instead of listening to the discussion in class, I am writing poems like this.
