Safir House

"So just so we clear when I see Linda Ima shoot her ass," Alora said, looking between Safir and Ariana.

"I told ya ass not to tell her!" He palm his head as he shook it side to side.

Alora had gotten wind of the the incident involving Ariana and boy was she pissed. If there was one person outside of family that she didn't play about it'd be Ariana. She was extremely overprotective especially when it came to Ariana and Linda relationship.

Linda was that toxic family member that you had no choice but to stay away from. It didn't matter what good thing her daughter had going on she always belittled her. She wasn't ya typical parent, hell she had never actually been a mother to Ariana her entire life.

As a parent Alora would give her son her last breath if she had to so she didn't understand how Linda carried Ariana for nine months only to give birth and treat her like shit. She didn't ask to be here and didn't deserve any of the things Linda put her through.

"Nigga you forget my apartment is a murder scene now ? She would've found out sooner or later." she shrugged.

"Correct," Alora wag her finger in his direction. "And speaking of murder scene; Safir why you ain't just get rid of the body?"

"After Linda fired her gun we had to get up outta there. But I had Reefa come behind us and make it look like a home invasion gone bad."

"I mean technically it was." Ariana giggled, causing both Safir and Alora to frown at her.

"Seriously." Safir and Alora said in unison.

"Okay to soon huh?" she chuckled, throwing her hands up in a surrender gesture.

"I can't with you. I don't know who worse you or Alora. Always joking at the wrong damn time." he frowned.

Alora pretend to be shock. "Nigga what ?"

"Nigga you heard me."

Alora and Ariana took nothing serious, everything was made to be a joke with them. You had Ariana who had been almost robbed and kill making joking about her situation. Safir didn't find any humor in the situation. Ariana could've actually been seriously hurt.

However, what Safir didnt know was it was defense mechanic for the both of them. They rather laughed about it than soak in their sorrow because it was no point in being down and out over something you can not change.

"Okay okay but what Ima do now ? I can't go back to my apartment. I think I got few thousand stashed away." she said.

"And keep it stashed away." Safir told her. "If you don't wanna stay here. I can see what properties we have available."

"Or you can move with me." Alora said with an uneasy tone.

"Wait, you moving?" Safir questioned.

"Don't you stay with ya parents ?"

"Not for long. Y'all know I like being on my own."

Safir shook his head. "Mama gonna have a fit. She just got you back and now you tryna leave."

"She'll be fine," Alora flagged him off. "What you say ?" she asked Ariana.
