Later That Day

Rome lent on the back of Ny truck as he waited for her to come out of her job. At ten p.m on the dot she came walking out of the elevator with a few of her coworkers laughing. Her coworkers noticed him before she did.

Her coworker tapped her gaining her attention. "Mhm is that Rome on ya car?"

She stopped talking to her and, looking in the direction of her car. Rome smiled at her. "Wsp boo,"

Damn she look good in them scrubs .

She returned a smiled, followed by wrapping her arms around him for a hug. "Surprised to see you here."

"Don't he mess with Mona?" her coworker Lisa whisper to someone as she walked by. Ny ignored it but Rome choose not especially since he was trying to put distance between them. He didn't need nobody linking him to her.

"You shouldn't speak on stuff you don't know Ma." he said to her.

She stopped walking, turning to face his direction. "You talking to me?" she asked pointing to herself.

"Yea, you the one speaking on me."

"I just asked a question about something I heard." She huffed.

"You asking a mfer who don't even know me about me. How that sound ?" He scrunched his face up looking at her sideways. She don't respond, just stood there looking dumbfounded. "That's like me asking Ny here ain't that girl that's fucking the janitor cause that's what I heard."

Ny along with Lisa friend snickered. "Man fuck yo. You ain't even all that. " she sucked her teeth and stormed off.

"My man definitely all that." Ny said behind her while laughing. "She fucking the janitor tho ?" she joked .

He shrugged. "Iont know you work with the bitch," they shared a laughed. "But mhmm I'm ya man now cause a few days ago you were coming at Alora." he smirked.

Ny playfully rolled her eyes. "And I still am but you still my man ... for the day." she chuckled, walking around to her driver side.

He pulled her back towards him. "Man whatever ... take a ride with me."

"Mhm what about my car?" she pointed behind him.

"I'll have someone come pick it. So ride with me ?"

She shrugged. "Long as you feeding me."

They started walking towards his car parked a few spaces down. "I gotta make a stop first then we can grab a bite. What you got taste for ?"

She balled her face up as if she was thinking. "Why woman never know what they want to eat? Be knowing everything but that." he laughed, shaking his head.

She mugged his head. "Nigga don't do me."

He stopped walking, glaring at her. "What I tell you about doing shit."

She continued walking. "What I tell you ? I don't care."

He could see her shoulder shrugging from behind, he did a quick jogged to her and smacked her on her ass. The sound echoed through the garage. "You fucker!" she whined.

"I don't care," he mocked her.

By now they were at his car, Rome open the passenger door for Ny to get in before jogging over to the driver side and getting in.

Romes one stop turned into a few stops, Ny didn't care though. She was happy he craved time out of his day for her since they hadn't spent much time together. Rome was a busy man, she understood that but she also knew a nigga would make time for a bitch he really wanted. Either way she wasn't pressed.
