"Come on, (Y/N)." Shuffling along behind the group, you still felt like this was a bad idea. Sure your parents wanted you to make friends and to go out to have a life, but you don't think they meant for you to go to the woods in the middle of the night.

"Here we are." Bruce hissed, "They say the Slenderman lives in these woods. You ever heard of him, (Y/N)?"

When Bruce got to close for your comfort, you shuffled back with a nod and you looked down. Everyone has heard of the Slenderman. Though many don't believe it's real.

"Now remember, we have to try to find Slenderman, we have two hours. The first one to leave before the time looses and has to do as the others say for a week." Marcy chuckled, while Ben handed out flashlights. You muttered a small, thank you, as you took it from him.

"Time begins now." Bruce cheered, before they ran into the woods, almost eagerly. You'll definitely have to look for better people to be friends with. Walking into the woods, you weren't that worried. There was nothing in here that could actually hurt you. Not to mention that so long as you go straight and stop after a little while, you'll be able to find your way out easily.

Keeping your light on, you made sure to look around every so often. Somewhere in the woods, you could hear the others laughing. You don't know if they're together or not, but from they way they were talking, they wanted to split up. Tensing when you heard rustling, you glanced around, in slight concern. Blinking at the paper that was hanging on a tree. There was a drawing of what was clearly Slenderman with letters reading "Follows" going from up to down on the side. Pursing you lips together, you shook your head, knowing what was going on now. They did this on purpose to try to scare you.

Folding the paper, you put it in the jacket of your pocket and continued on. Wincing when you ears started to ring slightly. Taking another look around, you stopped walking when you saw what looked like a black vine creeping around a tree.

As the ringing in your ears grew louder, you noticed that something was moving towards you from your right. When you looked, it was him, Slenderman. He was reaching out to you with his tentacles and hands. Feeling your mouth open and close in shock, you almost wanted to say something. Instead, you took out the page and looked between him and it. There was no doubt the drawing was him, but the resemblance was shocking. Holding it out to him, seemed to make him freeze, as if he didn't know what to do.

"Here. I think this was left here for you." You muttered, trying not to shiver when his cold hand grazed yours as he took it. You were sure that if he had eyes, he would be looking at you, which made you nervous so you looked down. Now more at ease since the ringing in your ears subsided.

"Thank you, (Y/N) ." A male voice called in your head, surprising you.

"You know my name?." You barely squeaked out, still not looking at him. Instead, jumping when you heard your companions calling for you somewhere in the forest. They seemed to have caught his attention as well.

"I have to go. It was nice seeing you were real." You turned to leave, but you winced when he grabbed your wrist. It wasn't hard, but the coldness shocked you. When you turned to ask what he wanted, you felt your face burst in a blush as his featureless head rested against yours.

"So kind and considerate. Surely you're just as smart." You heard the voice in your head again, "You must know they are not good people. You must know that they are trying to scare you."

"I have to have friends." You muttered, pulling away, but he didn't let you go.

"I would make a better friend than them." The voice growled, "They only seek to make you miserable. Scare you and harm you."

"I have to find out myself." You pointed out, slipping out of his grasp, "Goodnight, Mr. Slenderman."

Giving him a small nod, you hurried in the direction where you heard your friends yells. Finding them surrounding a tree, that had a paper similar to the one you found earlier. Each one had a page in their hands.

"Can you believe we actually found these?" Ben laughed, "These are the Slenderman's pages. We're getting close."

"It's probably a prank or something." You muttered, not really wanting them to find out slenderman was real.

"Are you saying you put these here, (Y/N)?" Marcy growled, suddenly turning on you with a glare, "We're so close to discovering and getting evidence. The only way you would know this is a trick would be if you put these here yourself."

"I..I didn't." You stammered, which caught all of their attention as they glared at you.

"You did set these here, didn't you?" Bruce snapped, "We told you that we were all going to come here to find Slenderman and you set these here. Why? To trick us or make us look like idiots."

" I really didn't do it." You whimered, hating that they were closing in on you. Forcing you to back against a tree, but one thing threw you off. This tree felt cold against you back. Tilting your head up, you spotter the Slenderman standing right there. Tentacles spiraling everywhere menacingly, before he put a hand over your eyes.

"This isn't for delicate eyes, (Y/N)." Not sure what he meant, you got your answer when you heard the ear shattering screams of the people you came with. Some even pleading for you to help, but you can't see and you know you don't want to. When it became silent, you didn't have to ask to know that they were dead.

When he removed his hands, you gasped when you saw that you were in your room. You almost wanted to ask how he knew you lived here and how he got you both here, but decided that you didn't want to know.

"You killed them, didn't you?" You whispered, feeling him rest a hand on your shoulder.

"I did." his voice echoed in your head, "They were scaring you and I knew that they were approaching with the intent to harm you. I was not going to let them do that."

"I could have ran." You pointed out.

"In my forest, you would have gotten lost. Not that I would have minded." He chuckled, spinning you to face him and lifting your head to force you to look at him, "I've already laid my claim on you. You're mine and I do not intend to let others make you feel sad."

Feeling your face burn when he pressed his nonexistent lips against yours. You don't know why you blushed, since he wasn't actually kissing you, but the thought that he was trying to kiss you, made your stomach flip.

"Anyone who displeases you, I will deal with them as I always have. When you are old enough to be on your own, I will come for you. Be ready for that day, (Y/N), because I won't let you go then."

Blinking, you gasped when he seemed to vanish. Looking around as if he would be there, you glanced down when you heard that you stepped on a piece of paper. Picking it up, you knew that it was his, but that he gave it to you as a reminder, with the words ' Always Watches, No Eyes.'
