*EDITOR'S NOTE*
Hey y'all it's been literally years but I wanted to post that there will be an updated version of OMH in the upcoming future. The entire book (and series, as it's a 3 part series) needs completely reworked and I have a brand new version coming. And trust me, as a reader I understand how anxious we get with rewrites. I promise you that it's so much better, keeps the same events and themes, just a lot better. I'll be honest when I say I haven't read in a long time so I rly need to get to working, but there is a new version coming. I cringe when I reread the first book, what's coming is so much better.
This book doesn't have a lot of traction but I've been getting random notifications here and there. Thank you all, you make me feel like this story matters. It's my life's work thus far (which sounds fuckin dumb I know but the rewrite plays in my head every minute of every day) .
