"W-What do you mean Sir Altair? Her Imperial Highness was exiled? Why?" I asked, pretending to be shocked.

"She was exiled last night due to being an impostor. I heard that the real princess returned and the 'fake' one requested to be exiled and disappeared."

Does word get out this fast? How did a man like him find out an incident in the imperial palace that happened last night?

"Oh my gosh, is that true?"

"I heard from a friend, he's a noble. Anyhow, I don't believe that Princess Solaris was fake. I saw her using magic at an adventurer's guild and in the Magic Tower. I believe that the one who just arrived is the impostor."

How did he see me? Did he read the book? Impossible, he must've known someone who kept an eye on me. Maybe he asked about me in an information guild? But neither I or Borealis is the impostor, we're twins after all!

"But why do you think Princess Solaris did all this?"

"It's my gut feeling."

Wait what?

"S-Sir Altair, you're not joking right?"

"Yep, my gut feeling is always dead-on. Just like how I see you as not an ordinary person." I gulped. "No matter, this incident is kinda out of the blue. Who turns the sea into pure diamond? Surely the Master of the Magic Tower didn't do this as a joke?

"My pickaxe is getting dulled yet the diamond didn't even crack!!" A man complained.

"Mine too!"

"Let's get some spare to mine this!"

"I think the Great Archmage Betelgeuse didn't do this, some third party must've done this... like some witches or more powerful people. By the way, are we there yet?"

"The town is a few kilometers away from here. Due to the solidified sea, Captain asked the people on board to continue their journey on foot. Is walking okay for you?"

"Of course Sir Altair, thanks for worrying!" I waved my hands goodbye and went back to my room. I cleaned my room and packed up my things. We used a wooden ramp to get down and said farewell to the crew who was on board.

After a few hours of treading through the valuable sea, we finally reached at the shore of the town of Tournesol.

Tournesol is a town famous for its numerous stands for sunflower bouquets. Because of this, many couples go here to somehow bless their relationship. The most important fact about this town is that it was named after a baron who took care of this once barren land.

From then on, the town prospered and the baron became an official imperial noble under my father or the Emperor's decree. Though I only know about him from reading reports, I'm sure I can ask for his assistance if needed.

When we arrived at the bustling parts of the town, towering buildings made of wood and bricks came into view. The roofs were made of either woven leaves of some palm trees I saw at the shore or steel roofs. The people wore light-colored clothes and they greeted each other happily.

I saw a boutique, a jewelry store, a weapons store and so much more.

"Wow..."

"There's pork, beef, mutton and chicken barbeque so come buy now and savor the flavors!!" A man said while cooking in his tent.

"If you want some soup, this is the place to be!!" A middle-aged woman wearing a cute apron stated from a window of her eatery.

"Mommy, can you buy me that?" A boy asked at his mother with him while pointing at a balloon.

"Let's go to a guild first!" I exclaimed in optimism.

I walked and walked through the busy street of Tournesol when a grand three-story building with a big sign above the twin doors.

'Connu Guild', this is it!

I saw a man guarding the entrance so I went in front of him and smiled.

"Can I come in Sir?"

"What business do you have here?" He sternly asked that I pretended to be scared. I flinched and trembled, then I avoided eye contact. "I-I'm sorry..!"

Gotcha!

"I-I just..! I'm a bit lost... and I thought the people in there could help me..!" I stammered that he balked.

"Sorry Miss, I didn't know you were a tourist. Please come in..." He put his hand on the door and it automatically opened. I saw fliers on a bulletin board and people gathering in the reception desk. "Sorry for scaring you, I didn't mean to..."

"It's okay." I assured him with a smile and a man in a butler uniform came to me.

"Welcome dear guest, I'm Xander at your service."

"Hello Sir Xander, you may address me as Zena." I replied with a cheerful expression.

I need to act differently from my true self!

"Miss Zena, may I know the reason why you've come here?" He asked as he fixed his glasses.

"Uhmm... I just wanted to know if there's an unused lodging here, it's okay if it's a little worn out. I also want to know if there's a place where I could work..." I said answered and fidgeted my fingers.

"Ah, follow me." He bowed and lead me to a room. He rummaged through a pile of papers and raised a piece of document it to the air. "Found it, have a seat Miss Zena." He pointed to a couch so I followed. "So you want to find a temporary place to live in?"

"Yes."

"There's an inn called 'Auberge de Matin' three blocks from here. What skills do you have?"

What do I say?

"I can knit and sew, clean, cook and wash clothes!"

"Anything else?"

"I know archery and equestrian arts due to my late father being a caretaker of a noble's house!"

"I see, you can work here if you'd like." He showed me a faint smile.

"What?! How could I possibly..?"

"It's fine Miss Zena, this place is not dangerous so rest assured. Oh, and I'll escort you to that inn if you'd like."

I'd prefer it if you don't.

"I'm alright Sir Xander, I could go there by myself." I refused and shook my head vigorously. "But may I ask your position here? I'm a little bit confused as to how you accepted me to work here without informing someone."

"I'm the Guild Master Xander, known as the Dog of War."
