𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟗

Guards assisted me and Sasuke to eliminate all the rogue ninjas.
peace was established in the village and everyone celebrated the accomplishment.

It took me a day to formulate the antidote for poison, it appeared impossible but in the end, I somehow succeeded preparing the right dosage. 

the sunset sprinkled its last rays on the human world, on the roof, on the treetops, Its light is everywhere, delivering peace and happiness to people.  

"....and done!" I injected the antidote into the last sufferer.

"thank you... so much for helping us.." the man whispers.

"you're welcome.. now get some rest.." I replied standing up.

tired and exhausted I step out of the place. When I gaze at the sunset, the feeling of endless illusions, endless hopes, and endless courage spreads within.

the dim light of the setting sun gave the earth a brilliance. A few white clouds are floating in the sky, resembling a colorful satin, decorated with a red-blue sky.

taking a deep breath I walk back to Saro and Asahi's residence. the village was blooming with happiness and joy.

There's a part of me that feels genuinely happy, knowing that I did an act of kindness to them.

it reduced my stress, improved my emotional state, and even benefited my physical health.

I slid the door and sat next to Sasuke, "you look tired.." 

"because I'm exhausted. healing people isn't an easy task.." 

"hm.. you did an excellent work.." Sasuke smiled.

"Thanks.. anyways where are Saro and Aashi" I question looking around.

"I don't know," Sasuke shrugged.

We both sit in peaceful quietness, his presence sense different than others.  

"you know Sasuke I love talking to you, even if I have nothing to say," 

"I feel the same way..(y/n)"

" It's the little things, like how I can simply sit down next to you and have hours pass by without a word. and yet when I finally get up to leave I'll feel so much lighter like a weight was lifted off of my chest." 

" (y/n) just having you around makes me feel better, makes my soul feel stronger, and calms the furious voices inside of me. you're someone who would make someone feel warm, like a cup of hot chocolate that calms the nerves. like soothing music in the ears. it's so simple with you. come. sit. speak. be heard. feel better." Sasuke said gazing into my eyes

"When I need to let something off of my chest and I'm with you, my innermost secrets come undone. you listening to me without judgment, even though I'm sure how wrong can I be sometimes" 

Sasuke cups my cheek and leans in closer "you make me being around you so easy, talking to you or not. you so comfortable that when I'm around you my mind is finally at peace, and maybe that's all I need."

he leans in closer, my heart begins to beat faster, my blood pressure rises, and my breathing quickens. his warm breath against my skin. eyes reflecting love, desire, and passion. 

Sasuke smirk and press his lips against my forehead.

I believed that while the lip kiss indicates sexual attraction, the forehead kiss tells a more meaningful story about the emotional closeness of the relationship.

I blush avoiding eye contact 'Lately I've been seeing him differently. I think I'm falling for him..'

forehead kiss made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. The warmth and pressure from his lips on my forehead triggered joy and mental wellness.
