"(y/n)...."

"yes...Sasuke?"

"What is love to you..?"

Days have passed and no intruders have attempted to invade the village.

I and Sasuke were relaxing on the mountain peak, watching the setting sun and its last glory. 

"never giving up.." I replied.

"what do you mean?" Sasuke questions looking at me.

I take a deep breath " loving someone is not simple. it has never been. there are times when everything appears perfect. but on some days, things aren't the same. things don't work out, you begin picking fights on everything, say hurtful words to each other, even if you don't mean them and you cause each other pain, even when you don't want to. in the end, when you love someone you never give up on them. you love them for who they are and accept them with all their flaws. you face the difficulties together instead of running away from them. because those obstacles are temporary. nothing remains for long. but, what does last is love, and love never leaves you if you try hard enough to make it stay. love can be a million things but what it truly means is "never giving up".

Sasuke smiles staring at the sunset "When you allow yourself to love, you're also allowing yourself to hurt. And perhaps, it is the reason that we have grown so unwilling to tell someone our feeling. Because we know that we're opening ourselves to provide them the power to cause us pain. But not constantly in a bad way. It could also be in a way that makes you feel butterflies inside. That makes you want to smile till your face hurts, that holds you up until the morning comes, and that lets you know that there is someone out there whom you can call home. though I am a difficult person to love.."

"someday someone will choose you and will keep choosing you every day Sasuke.." 

"Since meeting you, I actually began wishing for more time. I want more time with you (y/n). when you are with me, I forget that the rest of the world exists, because I get extremely lost in your eyes, the way you smile, and most importantly how happy you make me. it's like I have lived an eternity in that little time."

"I can say the same-"

"(y/n) san! Sasuke san!" Saro called out from a distance.

"What's wrong Saro?"

"V-Village.. is u-under attack! villagers are fighting them!" Saro replied gasping.

"Finally..." I wailed in enthusiasm.

"Start moving," Sasuke said running towards the village.

We reach the village only to find chaos everywhere, guards stood fighting the intruders, crossbowmen discharging from behind.

the village was flaming and black smoke could be seen mid-air.

"(y/n), this battle looks dangerous. I want you to head back" Sasuke said swinging his sword.

"What? No! I can fight-"

"You're not a shinobi.!"

"So what? You saw what I'm capable of at the leader's residence!"

"Hn. Fine."

I attack the enemies, my kunai clashed against the swords, weakening enemies with my element bending.

  Taking a deep breath I perform hand signs  " fire style: flaming flow"

the kunai blades in my hands were flaming now.

"Alright, who's next?" I smirk getting in a fighting stance.

everything continued operating strongly, enemies were slowly retreating as I and others kept battling.
