After we split up me and Devin were heading towards the Kings room to look first.
"So...how did you feel when...you know, I was completely take over?"
"Why the question all of a sudden?" He asked.
"I was just remembering what went on. After fully having my power like that, many things in my mind are like, locked inside of me to where they never leave"
"Oh I see. Well I didn't want to lose you, I guess what I'm saying is that, I felt lonely..." He said.
"Lonely?"
"Yeah, I mean when you had struck me, I thought I was alone, I thought the Lexi I knew wasn't there anymore...that was the worst feeling ever" he said.
"Oh...I'm sorry. I guess I wasn't strong enough to overcome all the evil that was held up inside me"
"Don't worry about it. We're here now and that's what's important" he said.
I smiled as we approached the door.
When we went in, the room was completely empty.
"She's not here. Can you sense her?"
"No not at all, can you?" He asked.
"No that's why I asked you. I could earlier but now I can't"
"Okay, let's go down the hallway and check the other rooms" he Said.
I agreed and we went down the hall.
-James POV-
"Well she's not down this hall"
We continued down another hall.
"How much time do you think we have?"
"I don't know. If I had to guess, I'd say less than ten, about six minutes left" he said.
"Oh gosh, that's not good"
He didn't say anything after that, the conversation kind of went down, so I asked a question.
"So uh, what's your name?"
"My name?" He asked.
"Yeah like, your real name"
"My name is..." He hesitated for a moment.
I wonder, does he even know his real name.
"...Clyde" he said
"Clyde...well I'm James"
I shook his hand with a smile.
When we made it at the end where the ball room was, it was totally empty.
"Man, nothing here either"
"Let's check the perimeter just to be sure" he said
"Alright" and we went on different sides to check.
-Lexi POV-
We kept looking and looking but couldn't find her.
"Something isn't right"
"Yeah I noticed" he said.
"We should have been able to find her. I don't think she's in the kingdom"
"Then where could she be?" He asked.
I was looked around thinking.
If we can't sense her, then that means...
"She must not in this world " I whispered.
"What?" He asked.
"She's not here, in this world"
