I'll forgive you if you don't remember.
No doubt, my face was just one of dozens you passed throughout your day.
You threw me a "Hey," and then you were on your way.
To you, I doubt I made a lasting impression.
But to me. To me, that "Hey" made my day.
It reminds me that I am not forgotten.
So, please forgive me for not returning that greeting right away.
I was just so surprised, and my reaction was a bit delayed.
And you didn't stay long enough to see my smile.
Give me another chance to show you how much that simple greeting means to me.
Please, say "Hey" again tomorrow.
