Remus sat alone in his compartment on the Hogwarts Express enjoying the serenity amidst the chaos ensuing outside. It lasted all but two minutes before the door was abruptly shoved aside by a tall black haired teenager. 

"Hey Moony!" Sirius exclaimed, shoving his things onto the empty seats. "I've missed you!"

"You saw me last week," Remus said chuckling slightly as he hugged Sirius. 

"That's a long time in dog years."

"They say absence makes the heart grow fonder."

"Bollocks. I say a day without you is like the sky without sun. Mr. Binns without boredom. McGonagall without detention. Prongs without Evans."

Remus furrowed his eyebrows, thinking of the list, "Pads, as much as I appreciate the effort, what do those have in common?"

"They're nothing without each other! Me and you, mate, we'll be together five-ever."

"You and I," Remus corrected. 

"Exactly."
