Artemis leaped forward tackling Ari then leaned forward kissing him the kiss was deep and even though it held no meaning behind it the kiss was passionate. The kiss had lasted for a few minutes and deepened by each passing second causing Ari to pant, he was finally able to pull away and when he did he sprinted over to the wall with a look of disgust on his face.

"You truly are sick" Ari said using his sleeve to wipe of what remained of the kiss Artemis chuckled as he walked over to the window his laugh as cold as ice as it pierced through the air he then turned back towards Ari. Ari glared back at him his expression of disgust turning to one of irritation

"what's so funny" he asked slightly confused

"nothing...nothing at all it's just you were doing this all to defend Coda right" Artemis said redirecting the question.

Ari froze scanning the room around him Coda was no where to be seen

"what did you do with him" Ari yelled knowing one of Artemis's wolves had probably taken him

"oh well he's probably across the hall by now along with my other captives. I'm surprised you didn't notice he's been gone for a while you must have really enjoyed our kiss" Artemis teased with an evil grin

"give him back" Ari snarled his wolf side beginning to take control once again.

"He's not yours to keep" Artemis said in a snake like tone as he continued to taunt him

"he doesn't belong to you either" Ari said his eyes glazing over into a light yet dark shade of red

"yes that's true the ones who belong to me are you and Nathan after all. That is why I am so protective over both of you see my mother never to taught me to share and as for my father well he was too busy with my brother so I don't take it too kindly when other people touch my things. Especially when they are trying to take them away from me... why it's like take a piece of candy away from a small child and leaving them nothing but a little wrapper its cruel don't you think" Artemis asked.

"Yes but we're not objects we're human beings and deserve to be treated as such... and humans do not own one another we are free to do as we wish even if the things we do come with consequences" Ari said his words followed by a low growl in his attempt to seem more intimidating. A attempt that clearly failed giving the fact that it had no affect on Artemis who was more excited then anything his smile sending several shivers down Ari's spine his reaction in return making Artemis slowly walk up to him ever so slowly as if he was stalking his prey. It was almost as if the movements he was now making were ran on instinct rather than a whim as he slightly leaned on the wall where Ari stood getting as close as he deemed possible before there heads touched.

Ari winced when he felt their skin touch he wanted to run as adrenaline rushed through his body but his body wouldn't listen to him it was as if he was under a trance. Artemis smiled seeing his lack of movement and moved his hand under Ari's chin rubbing it softly as if he was a kitten as his other hand remained perfectly still above Ari's head resting on the wall. "You're mine...all mine and nothing can change that, and I won't let anyone take you from me" Artemis said as Ari stared up at him with water forming in his eyes as he trembled helplessly under the influence of Artemis's touch. "Good boy" he said caressing Ari's cheek Ari closed his eyes tightly as his hands began to tremble Artemis then pulled Ari close to him into slight embrace before lowering his head towards his neck where he then proceeded to open his mouth.

With his teeth already replaced by wolf fangs he bit down on the nape of his neck marking him as his own then licking the wound clean afterwards the feeling making Ari want to vomit as the motion continued until finally Artemis let go taking a few steps back to observe his new profound mate. He was ready to run away from Artemis and get as far away as he could until he felt something the feeling was hard to put into words but to put it simply it was like something had lifted like a curse or a spell or... no it couldn't be Ari thought beginning to panic. A mist began to form around him...the mist was blue.... the mist then formed into a ball of energy which then obliterated into sparks which seemed to be consumed by Artemis who stood their with an evil grin. Ari ran over to the window only to see what he had feared all along  the blue mist that was expected to come in a few hours had arrived

"no it can't be" Ari cried in upmost surprised as he fell onto his knees.

"Yes, Ari you are indeed the child of the prophesy and you are now and forever mine" Artemis said as Ari fell silent it had then occurred to him something that made him smile ever so wickedly with glee.

"But I mated with Coda there for the power isn't yours it should instead return to me by sunrise" Ari said but Artemis only chuckled

"my... my Ari you can't be serious you know that mark you placed on him isn't official you did it in  human form so there was never a mark to begin. Just face already your mine you belong to me and you will never see Coda again" Artemis said as Ari's expression returned once again to that of sorrow. This wasn't fair he didn't want this he wanted Coda they were meant to be but Artemis he ruined that Ari stood their his hands clenched into fists as tears began to fall

"no I don't want this" he yelled his voice echoing throughout the room.

"It's too late for that your marked and with that a bond has been formed I will forever know your scent and know where you are every second of the day" Artemis said as he moved closer towards him

"it's not right" Ari cried kicking him.

"What do you mean you had the strength to move away but chose not" Artemis said reminding him of the last moment of possible resist he had he's right I could've ran out the door with Coda at first sight of him but I didn't  Ari thought to himself as Artemis pinned him down. Why didn't I run away? it was a question Ari would ask himself until the day he laid dead

Why...
