Garret Hart and the US effort in the Operation of Cedar Falls in rushing Saigon were only minor in achievement. But during the operation there came the discovery of an infrastructure known as the Iron Triangle.
Still working in the Cedar Falls operation, Garret Hart is assigned to a task forces working in a covert setting in a sub operation known as Operation Ferrum Triangulum. Sending tactical patrols still under the cloak with their daggers at the ready while the main force's "hammer and anvil" strategy by pounding the opposition against the wall.
The iron triangle, as they soon discover, is a network of underground tunnels spanning a very wide range that allowed them access to other parts of the region. The main objective was to wipeout stations surrounding the entrances to the tunnel and the tunnels closed with plastic explosives.
But they come across a powerful tactician running the Iron Triangle's everyday operations and he fights to preserve it. From that point, it became an assassination mission.
