"hi guys!" phoebe smiles as she enters the coffee house. everyone was present, lounging on the furniture. gianna sat curled up at one end of the sofa and chandler sat close to her, their legs occasionally brushing.

"hey, pheebs!" gianna smiles, earning a pat on the head.

"hey. oh, oh, how'd it go?" ross asks, placing his coffee back on the table. chandler's arm goes behind gianna's head, along the back of the sofa as he sits up slightly.

"um, not so good. he walked meto the subway and said 'we should do this again'!" phoebe replies and the everyone but rachel grimaces.

"ohhh. ouch." chandler says, glancing down at gianna as she sips her coffee.

"what? he said 'we should do it again', that's good, right?" rachel questions, wiping her hands on her apron.

"uh, no. loosely translated 'we should do this again' means 'you will never see me naked'." monica spells out and gianna nods her head in agreement.

"since when?" rachel argues.

"since always. it's like dating language. y'know, like 'it's not you' means 'it is you'." joey continues and chanlder nods.

"or 'you're such a nice guy' means 'i'm gonna be dating leather-wearing alcoholics and complaining about them to you'." chandler adds, waving his arms around.

"or, or, y'know, um, 'i think we should see other people means 'ha, ha, i already am'." gianna continues before going awfully quiet. everyone looks around cautiously before looking back at her. slowly chandler reaches his arm around her shoulders to comfort her. "sorry that was um, uh-sorry just continue."

"and everybody knows this?" rachel asks, sitting on the arm of the sofa.

"yeah. cushions the blow." joey replies, cautiously looking over at chandler comforting his little sister.

"yeah, it's like when you're a kid, and your parents put your dog to sleep, and they tell you it went off to live on some farm." chandler adds, his arm now resting on the back of the sofa, gianna sitting slightly closer to him, her legs curled under her chin.

"that's funny, that, no, because, uh, our parents actually did, uh, send our dog off to live on a farm." ross laughs and monica looks at him.

"uh, ross."

"what? what-hello? the millner's farm in connecticut? the millner's, they had this unbelievable farm, they had horses, and, and rabbits that he could chase and it was-it w-" based on everyone's looks, ross caught on. "oh my god, chi chi!"

"'so how does it feel knowing you're about to die?'" chandler acts, helping joey out with some lines for an audition.

"'warden, in five minutes my pain will be over. but you'll have to live with the knowledge that you sent an honest man to die.'" joey replies in character. from the counter, gianna sits drinking her coffee.

"hey, that was really good!" chandler exclaims and joey smiles brightly.

"thanks! let's keep going."

"okay. 'so. whaddya want from me, damone, huh?'" chandler continues, looking down at the script.

"'i just wanna go back to my cell. 'cause in my cell, i can smoke'." joey argues.

"'smoke away'." chandler says, watching as joey takes out a packet of cigarettes and a lighter. gianna watches her brother fumble and drop the lighter. he lights the cigarette and takes a drag before coughing.
