I couldn't keep the grin off my lips.
She was finally mine. All mine.
She wouldn't dare tell anyone now. Not after poor little Elliot got the worst of it.
I laughed. I was giddy with adrenaline, high off of the feel of her body pressed to mine. I sped down the road back to my apartment, not caring for the speed limit. It was 3 in the morning. There was no one around to stop me.
No one to stop me from taking her.
It was perfect. Absolutely perfect.
She was perfect.
I was so proud of her for not telling the cops about me. I really wasn't sure if she would or not. But she didn't. She's smarter than that.
She's my perfect girl. So bright. So beautiful. So kind.
No one would ever take her away from me.
I'd make sure of that.
