Ch 11: Losing all of them

Elle's Pov

It's been 4 hours since Mary was in the operating room. Damien and I are currently sitting in the waiting room. "Elle, let's eat first, you haven't eaten or drank since this afternoon" said Damien, yes I haven't eaten anything since this afternoon, I'm neither hungry nor thirsty, my appetite is gone.

"No, Damien, thank you" I said weakly. "No Elle, let's eat this now or should I force you the hard way?" said Damien, "Very well" I said and took the kebab from Damien and ate it,

"Have you called Leo and Uncle Dom? Are they safe?" I asked. "Not yet, they said they would call" said Damien. "Oh okay, I hope they are fine" I said, "I hope so" said Damien while hugging and stroking my head, while I continued eating.

30 mins later

I saw uncle Dom hurriedly running towards us. "Elle, Damien, let's go to the car" said Uncle Dom panicked, "What's wrong uncle" I said, "I'll explain later, now get in the car, NOW!" he ordered.

We immediately ran into the car and found Leonardo in it. "What about Mary, uncle?" I asked "she will be fine, now use bulletproof and bring this gun, use it to protect you" said uncle Dom, Leo immediately accelerated the speed of our car.

"What's wrong, uncle?" I asked, "Rossi's men carried out the attack, we had to take you away to a safe place, our men were protecting at home and some were preventing them from chasing us, but I think this is impossible because there are so many of them," he said.

"Why did they attack us uncle? What happened before?" I asked, "That's my business, you don't need to interfere Elle" said Leo firmly

I saw two cars passing very fast from our left and right. I thought they were just passing by, 

"ALL DOWN" Leo shouted, we immediately looked down, then I heard several gunshots. "Oh my God what happened?" I said in panic and fear

Suddenly I heard a very large explosion sound, I don't know what happened, my ears hurt a lot. I covered my ears with both hands, but I felt so dizzy I might pass out, NO I have to endure.

I felt our car flip and fall, I don't know what happened next but I felt someone pulling me out of the car.

"are you okay elle?" Damien asked with concern, "Yes, where are Uncle Dom and Leo? Are you okay?" I asked, "I'm fine, they are -... there they are" said Damien, I turned towards them and ran to hug them.

"You are all right, I thought-" I said interrupted by leo "Of course we are fine, did you hurt my little girl?" said leo panic, I shook my head, "no leo I'm fine, uncle are you okay?" I said frantically "I'm okay dear." said uncle Dom

Suddenly many men came towards us "Elle go with damien from here, run, hurry!" Leo said, "no I want to help you!" I said, "NO, YOU'RE GOING WITH DAMIEN! YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING TO HELP, SO JUST FOLLOW!" said leo with angry voice

Damien pulled me with him, am I that weak that I can't help? Am I really useless?

Damien and I kept running until someone followed us, a gunshot sounded and I saw Damien shot in the leg, Damien shot the person who shot him earlier, that person fall down

"You go, run Elle, get help, go north, you can! Soon someone will follow here, you have to hurry!" Said Damien, 

"No Damien, I can't leave you here, you're hurt" I said "I'll be fine Elle, let's go now, they'll come!" said Damien, "But-" "No, don't argue anymore, take this and take care of yourself, get help!" said damien, 

"If someone asks who you are, use your fake name, don't show yourself or your strengths, don't look smart, they'll be suspicious of you, act as innocent as when you first came here" said damien in concerned

"Alright damien, promise you will be safe?" I said, "I promise, let's go now, hurry!" I nodded and ran north.

"See you soon damien" I said turning towards him while running away.

After I thought that I had been running for more than two hours, I felt so tired, how can I continue to run in this forest? 

I have to seek help, no, my legs are very weak, oh God give me the strength to continue my journey.

Maybe I got lost? Oh my, what now? I've been following the forestry instructor that I learned from books first, it can't be fiction right?

I saw a small river there, I saw the moon shining brightly from the direction of the reflection of the water in the river. How could it shine so brightly when the people on this earth might be in trouble? For example: me.

I took the water in the clean and clear river and drank it with my hand. After that I returned to walking, I must be able to get out of this forest.

1 hour later

I've been walking for about an hour, I'm really panicking now, where am I? Am I far lost? What if I can't get out? What if there are wild beasts who will chase me?

I was panicked and terrified, my breathing became irregular, my breaths became short and i felt suffocated. I gave up, I fell on my knees. My head is so dizzy, I feel my vision is starting to blur

I don't know how long I lay limp, when I felt someone picking me up, I was scared and fought for him to let me go, but i was very exhausted, 

"You are safe now with me my little angel, rest now, you are so brave" That's what I heard before I fell into a very deep sleep. I let the darkness consume me. I realized that i'm now alone and losing all of them
