A/N - Btw guys, if you're thinking, let me tell you, yes, Anjali Di is not married - atleast not anymore. She divorced her husband like - kind of 7 months ago, it's a really personal issue. So, guess you know now.

Smita POV

I was already feeling nervous, but now I've gone crazy.

I picked up the phone. It was Ma.

"Halwa." I said on the phone.

Mummy and Anjali Di looked at me.

"M - matlab - Hello?"I said. (I mean - Hello?)

"Smita. Maine suna aaj sabke liye puri halwa bana rahi hai tu." Ma said. (I heard you're making Puri Halwa for everyone.)

"Aapko kaisa pata?" I asked. (How do you know?)

"Arey phone par Hello ke jagah Halwa jo bola tune." Ma chuckled. (Because you said Halwa instead of Hello on the phone.)

"Aur waise, tu bhul to nahi gayi na?" She asked. (And btw, did you forget?)

"Ma, main aap sabko kaise bhul sakti hoon?" I said. (How can I forget you all?)

"Hume nahi, elaichi. Halwa main daal dena." She said. (Not us, cardamom. Put it in the Halwa.)

"Ma, ab main rakhti hoon." I said, annoyed. (Ma, I'm hanging up now.)

Anjali Di and Nani left. I looked at the flour I'd been mixing, and tensed up.

"Hey Bhagvan. Itni patli aate se puri kaise banegi?" I mumbled. I had mixed a lot of water. (Oh God. How will I make Puri with such a runny dough?)

I made everything, and took it to the table. I served everyone, and sat down.

Everyone had a weird expression at first, but they said it was perfect. I saw Dhruv.

"Nice." He said.

"Bhagvan ka lakh shukar hai. Mujhe laga tha ki - " I said, taking a bite. (Thank God. I thought that - )

I gagged a little.

I saw everyone looking at me, smiling. Dhruv was still eating.

"Dhruv." I stopped him. "Tum yeh kaise kha rahe ho? Yeh itna bekar hai!" I said. (How are you eating this? It's so weird!)

"Kyu? Tumne banaya, isliye mujhe acha laga." He said. I looked at him in shock. (Why? You made it, so I loved it.)

"Isliye toh main kahti hoon Bhabhi, tum dono ek dusre ke liye bane ho. Aur bhabhi, maine aapka hi khana pehle bhi khaya hai. Aaj kya hua?" Anjali Di smiled. (That's why I say Bhabhi, you two are made for each other. Btw Bhabhi, I've eaten food cooked by you before. What happened today?)

"Woh, Di, thoda sa nervous kyu ki ghar main mera pehla din hai - " I said. (Actually, Di, I was a little nervous as it was my first day in the house - )

"Smita beta, tumne apne bachpan se hi hum sabka dil jeet liya tha. Abhi nervous hone ki zaroorat hi nahi thi." Papa said. (Smita, child, you'd won all of our hearts since your childhood. There's no need to be nervous now.)

"Thank You, Papa." I said.

"It was still perfect for me." Dhruv said, kissing me on the forehead.

We both smiled at each other.

I was doing some household work after breakfast, and chatting with everyone.

As I was just done, I went to our room. Dhruv was sitting there only, lost in space.
