"Gate kholo!! Haider!! Behrey ho gaye ho bilkul! Bell baj rhi hai!" Hafsa yelled on the top of her lungs when the door bell went unanswered on the third ring.

A huffing puffing Haider came running downstairs one sleeve in, one on the way as he tried to put on his shirt at the same time.

"Subha se uper nichey ki dorey bhi main laga raha or gate bhi main hi dekhun?! Botal se nikal jin hun main?" He grumbled loud enough to seem confident and furious but low enough for it not to reach his mother's ear.

He pulled open the door and the sight of Kamran Uncle's Family made his efforts worth while.

He quickly raked his hands through his wet hair and straightened his shirt before greeting Kamran Uncle and Fatima Aunty then ofcourse the person that was most desperately awaited.

"Asslamualikum Aylaa.. Kaisy ho?" He asked softly tallying in the garden for sometime as the elders walked in.

"Walaikum salam..." She replied shyly tucking an invisible strand of hair behind her ear.

He breathed in the sight of her and placed his hands in his pockets trying to seem chill when his heart was haywiring as usual.

"Airaa nhi ayi?" he asked casually.

"Nope... Appi ke last days hain Uni keh.. Important lecture thaa aaj. But she wishes all the best for Harris bhai!" Aylaa responded with an amicable laugh and Haider gave a mock cheery smile.

Not to be mistaken.... It's not that he wasn't happy for his brother, just that he wasn't happy with being treated like his slave.

The whole morning had been like,

"Haider!!! Mama ko bolo meri navy blue wali shirt press ker den!!"

"Haider!!! Meri black waley sneaker nikal do! White match nhi kar rhy!!"

"Haider!! Motor chala do pani nhi aa rha!!"

"Haider! Meri silver cufflink dhoondo! Tum ne chori ki naa!"

.......

Suffice to say... It wasn't fun playing Harris's butler, and he believed he should be the one recieving best of lucks so that he could survive today.

"You look really pretty.." Haider shifted his mind from the bitter thoughts swarming it, to the beautiful fiance walking beside him, glowing as pink as the roses behind her.

Ducking her head shyly she mumbled, "You too.."

Haider frowned and looked down at his pastel pink and white checked shirt,

'Sure its pink... But manly.... Right?'

At the exact instant Aylaa realized what she said and eyes widened looked up at him shaking her head furiously,

"I mean handsome!!"

Then again colored up at yelling loud and said more softly, "I... I meant keh tum achey.. Lag rhy ho.... Not Pretty!! .. I mean.. sure you're pretty but it's a more girly word... and you're wearing pink... but it's not girly! and... Even if it was I wouldn't care because I think you can wear whatever --"

"Aylaa!" He stepped up to her suddenly speaking up and Aylaa gulped the rest of her words back flushing red with embarrassment.

Gazing at her cute baby face Haider grinned a grin full of love and adoration,

"You're adorable." he said, barely holding back his laugh.

"I am dumb." she mumbled thinking of how confident her sister was and comparing her nervous self to that.
