"I kinda want to go talk to him.." I told Felix as I looked over at Benji who was fixing his hair at his locker "just go up to him. He can't be that hard to talk to. I mean come on now, you act as if you don't stalk his socials all the time"

"Okay I'm gonna go do it" I took a deep breath "hurry up, you have 5 minutes before we need to go to class" I nodded and went over to Benji
"Hey" I said leaning against the locker next to his
He waved and smiled at me before grabbing a notepad from his locker
I noticed his eyes were a shade of yellow that wouldn't normally be an eye color
"Hey" I saw him write on the notepad
"how's your day been so far?" I asked slightly confused as to why he was writing and it talking
"Good, what about you?" His writing said
He looked up at me and I saw that his eyes were a golden color
"I've been good as well, thanks" he smiled at me and nodded
"Why aren't you talking?" I asked and he sighed and started writing on the notepad
"I'm mute...I haven't been able to talk since 7th grade." I had to read that twice to make sure I wasn't seeing things
"Why not?" I asked
"It's a long story and I have to get to class" he wrote and I nodded
"Would you like to come to sit with us at lunch?" I said And he nodded smiling
"What class do you have next?"
"Biology" the note said
"Okay. I'll meet you there after the class ends and we can go to lunch together" he nodded
"Okay bye" he waved at me before grabbing his book and walking to class
