Chapter 25

10 Years Later

"times gone by so quick dad, you wouldnt believe it"

I paused, i was knealing by my dads grave talking to him like I always did, i knew that he was listening somewhere.

"Leon and Lexi got married the other day! yeah, i was her maid of honour and Elliot was the best man, those two are the best of friends now, how wierd?"

I chuckled at the thought, me and Lexi always meet up on a saturday night and Leon and Elliot always go down the pub together, boys will be boys i suppose.

"mum hasnt met anyone else yet, she always says that you were the only one for her and that shes happy being single, same with Leon's mum"

My relationship with my mum had completely improved and I saw her so often I was suprised i wasnt sick already, even though she was amazing and helped me whenever i needed it.

"Conor wants to propose to Christina too, hes always bringing me pictures of rings asking me what i think and telling me ideas, he wants to make it super special but they're going on holiday to the carribbean soon so i think hes going to do it then"

"God knows where Vicki and her little minions ended up, i really couldnt care either, i still remember that day i stood up to her, wow you should have seen me dad, i was amazing, it felt so good"

I smiled at the memory as i slowly reached out my left hand to gently stroke his name, as i did i smiled for another reason. My sparkly ring glistened in the sun, and yes it was on that finger.

"my proposal was the best though, when Leon was in a car accident once we were all in hospital and Lexi said people should just live life on impulse decisions and that it shouldnt matter where you are just as long as your with the people you love, next thing you know hes on one knee and with this ring i mean, how unexpected?"

I chuckled slightly at the memory, it was the most unexpected but beautiful proposal ever.

"sweetheart, you ok?"

I turned and looked up to see Elliot smiling weakly down at me, he knew how tough coming here was, even 10 years later. I nodded slowly and he got down next to me before reaching out and slipping his fingers next to mine before fiddling with the ring, he gave me a kiss on the cheek before facing my grave

"i hope i measure up to your ideal man to be with your daughter"

I turned slightly to face him, he smiled weakly before turning back to the grave

"i do vow to always look after her, just like you did, i promise"

I smiled and leant my head on his shoulder, i felt him gently rest his head on mine as we sat in silence for a few minutes.

"I lo-"

"oi! hurry up you two, i wanna see my grandkid!"

Elliot was interupted by a woman i still call a legend, his mum. We both looked around to see her waving over at us, i laughed and we both got up before looking over at her

"yeah the scans soon so hurry up, honestly, one minute i cant get you two to have sex and now i cant get you to the scan, can you please make up your minds"

We both laughed before i looked up at him

"i love your mum"

he sighed and rolled his eyes

"yeah give it a few more years"

i laughed and nodded

"yeah, i'm just curious how long i can last"

"Elliot Zachary Ryans and Ellie soon-to-be Ryans can we please hurry up! im hungry, tired and am in desperate need to see that baby floating about!"

We both laughed and Elliot gently rested his hands on my belly before pressing his forehead against mine slowly

"lets go see our baby?"

I smiled and felt butterflies before nodding slightly

"our baby"

Elliot smiled before slowly leaning down and planting a kiss on my lips, just as i was about to kiss back we were interupted... again.

"this is a public place you know? and besides shes already pregnant thats just wrong Elliot!"

We both laughed before looking over at his mum before back at each other

"i love you... my little nerd"

I smiled and gave him a kiss

"i love you too dumbo"

He chuckled before giving me another kiss and taking a few steps back, i looked down at my dads grave

"anyways dad, i gotta run, your invited to the wedding by the way and baby scan now, see your little grandchild, i love you. The limit is the sky if we team up"

I smiled before running my fingers along my arm where the tattoo still showed, I didnt regret it at all and Elliot never got that £50, much to his disappointment.

I slowly walked over to Elliot where he laced his hand with mine as we both walked over to where his mum was standing with the car, before getting in and driving off to look at my baby. Our baby..

ok so there it is... the end... the finale.... i wasnt too sure how to end it but i decided on saying where everyone went in life before them driving off to see their baby :') I really hope you enjoyed reading this and i'd love to hear what you all thought and what id love even more is if you could go read all my other stories <3 Cazza xxx
