I can't wait for Dante to come home from work tonight, after several days of impatience I will finally tell him that I am two weeks pregnant. He's coming back in two hours and I've decorated our small apartment in New York for the occasion. I'm so happy to tell him because Dante always wanted kids so this baby is an incredible surprise for both of us.
I went to the doctor 3 days ago because I was not feeling well and after a blood test I had the joy of knowing that I was pregnant.
Dante and I met in high school, I was the shy girl with no friends and he was the popular geek that all the girls liked. I never thought he would ask me out but he did and as soon as we start to hang out it was very natural and we immediately have a good connection then we start dating and now we're married for 1 year and a half .
Dante has just opened his own company 'Hernandez's & Co' a technology and informatics company, so he works a lot and I hardly see him because he leaves very early and comes home very late at night.
Today he promised to come home earlier so I could tell him something very important but I've been waiting for him for almost two hours and he is still not here. I think I'm gonna call his office's phone to know where he is.
The phone rings three times before he finally answers "WHAT YOU WANT !" I was taken back by the way he yells so coldly, I never hear him so angry with me "Umh Hey baby I was wondering when you're coming home tonight because I don't know if you remember but I had something important to tell you .... And why are you heavy breathing are you on your way home ?" he must have been in trouble at work, I don't blame him it's hard to start a company without knowing much about business.
"WHY ARE YOU KEEP BOTHERING ME !!" He responds aggressively on the phone, I'm trying to not be affected by it because I know that Dante always had anger issues since he was little all I can do it's trying to understand and calm him.
"Dante are you okay?.. take a deep breath do you wan-"A loud repetitive sound sounded on the other line of the phone followed by a deep moan from my husband and suddenly the phone hangs up.
I didn't think twice, I took my jacket and run to his office which is two miles from here. After ten minutes of fast walking, I'm in front of the old building where Dante works. I rush to the reception thinking that my husband had an accident because of his anger.
In front of me, a blond woman who is about my age at the receptionist's desk is looking me up and down. " Hello, I'm Mrs. Hernandez where i can find my husband please?"Her eyebrows raised in surprise when she hear the word 'husband' coming out of my mouth and she rolled her eyes. "Dante is not available now, you can leave now"
I hate dealing with the women who find my husband attractive, they are always so annoying. " I will find my way.....bitch" and then I walk to the stairs. It has taken me a few minutes to find Dante's office, in front of it there is no personal assistant so I decide to walk in without knocking and I regret it immediately when I see what's going on in this office...
