After my successful meeting with Mia and Matt, I had a newfound spring in my step. I was taking back my control and doing what I did best, as Hebe said, I was being badass.

The island was getting busier by the day, the holiday season had been in full swing for two weeks already and the hustle and bustle of tourists and Greeks made me feel like summer was finally here.

I had found myself fall into a routine. I would get up, have a quick catch up with Pascal, run into Skiathos Town, get myself an iced coffee at Demetri's taverna (where he would also ply me with a continental breakfast each day and not let me leave until I had eaten), run back to the villa, shower and either catch the bus back into Skiathos Town, where I would work at Demetri's or do some shopping.

I had fallen into some kind of habit where I felt I needed to have a daily dose of the Andreas'. They were like my new addiction, and I felt less homesick when I was with them. Demetri oozed calmness, amongst other things, and I felt as though he felt the same way about seeing me. That's what I hoped anyway. If the lingering glances, that handsome smirk or the soft touches he made sure to give were anything to go by.

I had been sat working on some of the ideas I had that I wanted to run by Mia and Matt tomorrow when Demetri approached with my...fifth coffee?...oh who was I kidding, we were well into double figures by now. I smiled and thanked him as he placed it down. "They're getting ready for a wedding," Demetri said.

I glanced up at him and found his gaze was over my head, on the church. I shot around and jumped from my seat so fast, I knocked my chair to the ground and my coffee glass wobbled. "What," I spoke as I rose.

Demetri chucked, "the church, they're preparing for a wedding, tonight I guess."

I watched as a few people were gathering who, definitely, looked like they were carrying in flowers to the small church. My eyes widened and my heart beat a little faster. Finally. I'd finally see what she saw.

"Oh my god," I spoke so quietly, but Demetri was so close I knew he heard when he chucked again. "Why don't you stick around a bit longer, I'll make you dinner and you can watch the wedding."

"That sounds amazing, thank you," I replied, picking my chair back up and pushing it under the table. I twisted my planners around and sat in the opposite chair, so I was facing the church.

I couldn't take my eyes off the church and the scurry of activity that surrounded it as the sun began to set and guests started arriving. It was a Greek wedding, but obviously a small ceremony. That did surprise me at first, I mean I only had My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Mela's wedding story to go by, but when a car pulled up and a man and woman in their late fifties got out, him dressed in a suit and her in a white dress and a bunch of flowers, I knew why it was small.

My heart seized all possibilities, second change love? Rekindled childhood romance? Star crossed lovers? After everything that had happened, I felt my heart flicker back to life a little, as though to remind me: yeah, love always wins.

When I woke the next morning, ready to face the day and my new clients, I was surprised to see Mia had text me asking if we could push our eleven am meeting to before dinner. I sent her a message saying of course and I'll meet her at the taverna at seven pm.

Although I was used to eating at around five, when I couldn't wait to feed the hunger demon inside of me, Greeks ate late, when the sun was beginning to set, and the temperatures had dropped.

Although I was surprised, and a little stressed our meeting had been pushed back, I decided to use this time to visit the equivalent of a local council in Skiathos Town and see if I could work my magic.
