Welcome to my entry for the ONC 2023! The prompt I'm using is 43. You have waited a thousand years to find your true love, what's one more day? *
Now, you may be thinking SWEET ROMANCE! No! My Dark Beloved is dark. It's got people going insane, opium dens, and prostitutes that you may or may not think are the undead. Oh, and there's a mermaid with agoraphobia and a horrid intolerance to the cold.
Beloved will be teetering on mature but I will not get graphic on too much (a few scenes will be M so I'm slapping that label on it). You guys know my style. I'm sticking to it. x
