The drive away from the police station was quiet, and not in any way comfortable. When they'd gotten to their destination Stiles dragged Derek into the McCall house by the arm. It wasn't that Derek wasn't willing to walk to the house rather Stiles didn't trust that he would run away again.

Lulu closes the door behind them taking a look around the dark home that only had a kitchen light on. Even in the dark, the house looked like a home, inviting and like someone who was loved grew up there.

"We're going to wait here for Scott. We're going to sit quietly. We're not going to call or talk to anyone," Stiles explains, setting down rules specifically directed towards Derek who stood at his height even at a younger age.

"Do I talk to you?" Derek asks looking at Stiles

"No." Stiles quickly answers hoping to just sit in silence as they wait with nothing going wrong

"Can I talk to her?" Derek asks looking behind at Lulu who he trusted more than Stiles

"Yes," Lulu answers not minding talking to the teen

Only for Stiles to counter her response with a firm, "No"

"Yes," Lulu sternly says her answer not directed at Derek but rather Stiles who she'd come to realize respect meant nothing to the kid, he will speak his mind to anyone

Stiles and Lulu glaring at each other gives Derek the opportunity to point at the dark figure before them, "Who's going to talk to him?"

"AHH!" Stiles shouts at the sight of the tall man carrying a paper take-out bag "Are you getting taller?"

"What are you guys doing here?" The man in a tux asks

"We're waiting for Scott" Derek simply answers

"Yeah, so am I. We're supposed to have dinner. I brought extra. You guys hungry?" The man - who Lulu guessed to be Scott's dad - asks placing the take-out bag on the dinner table
