It wasn't supposed to end up this way.
Lulu remembers one minute listening to Derek and Braeden walk towards where Scott, Liam and Malia were being held and the more she listened the more she became disoriented. It didn't occur to her that it was the music affecting her but it left her vulnerable.
So when Lulu feels a prick breaking skin she tries to get the person and needle off of her but with the music affecting her body she had little say in getting her body to fight. The blurriness in her eyes made the person stepping before her out of focus and yet she knew it was a man.
When she did regain her consciousness her body was hoisted up and in pain - pain that wasn't healing.

With a whimper Lulu opens her eyes
"You're okay, you're safe" a gruff voice whispers into Lulu's hair as he secures his arms tighter around her waist
Lulu looks down at the hands around her waist leading her to see the bandages around her arms making her know the flashes of nightmare were real. Yet knowing that the embrace she was in belonged to Derek, Lulu does know she's safe allowing her to relax the best she could under the circumstances.
"What time is it?" Lulu asks not daring to move from his hold incase there was pain remaining in her body ready to be felt
"2:30 give or take," Derek answers moving his hand softly up and down Lulu's arm
"Why are you still awake?" Lulu tilts her head resting on his chest up to see him the best she could under the moonlight
"You're still in pain" Derek states as if it answered her question but really Lulu just worried she was keeping him up
"Wolfsbane hurts to heal from," Lulu mumbles still being able to recall how just a few hours ago they had been burning off the wolfsbane from all the wounds she'd been given
While Lulu remembered the pain Derek is able to recall how she tried not to screamed and yet after the second wolfsbane wound she let her tear filled scream be heard, "I am sorry"
