Not Meant to Be

Platonic Friends (Trinity)

A few months later...

Me and Zyan started to develop this friendship where much didn't have to be said.

We just vibed like that.

Even though I still slightly had a crush on him I think it's best to just stay friends..

Platonic friends maybe?

Our morning and after school car rides became a daily thing.

My car had to be taken to the junk yard.

Which is understandable because it was pretty old.

But Zyan Had no problem driving me.

Every morning at 8 am sharp he was there outside my house waiting.

At the end of the day we would leave art class together so that he could take me home.

People around school started talking.

We somehow had so much approval from strangers in school.

We would meet each other in the hallway during bathroom breaks and visit each others free periods.

We became talked about at school a lot.

Random guys would even give him a thumbs up or say "I see y'all."

It's like everyone else wanted us to be in a relationship, but for us the communication was off.

Almost every night we were on the FaceTime talking until 3 am.

Our friendship became so open that he started to tell me about his "girl problems."

Yeah, Apparently he started talking to a girl at our school. He hasn't told me who she is yet.

Of course I listened and gave him advice because
I care, and don't want there to be anything weird between us.

I started to accept our platonic relationship.

He was there for me and I was there for him.

He has a spot in my heart but we will never be together, and that's just that.

God isn't allowing it.

That's the only explanation that I could see.

It hurts but What ever Gods will is I'm learning to be fine with it.

Besides Zyan isn't even really much of a believer.

11:30pm

After contemplating all of my thoughts I was a little sad so I decided to bake cupcakes.

Baking is my happy place. I figured I'll give them out at school the tomorrow.

Giving is also my love language.
