Diana stared in awe as the Kugelblitz glowed in front of her.
"All of us are irrelevant," Five said. "This things gonna take the whole damn universe."
"What is it made of?"
Sloane answered, "Micro black holes collapsing at increasingly short intervals."
"Then why aren't we all getting sucked inside?" Five asked.
"Honestly, we don't know. You shouldn't exist here, and neither should this."
Five sighed. "An impossibility for an impossibility. The universe is a sucker for balance."
"Grace has been tracking the waves. Next one is due in three hours."
"All right, so what do we do?"
"We trap it."
"Dyson sphere?"
Sloane nodded.
"Okay. Confinement factor?"
"0.98 at peak energy flux." Sloane responded.
"Tensile strength?"
"UTS ceiling or 10,000 gigapascals."
Lila looked over at Diego and Luther and said, "Should I be finding this hot?"
"No." They both answered, sounding disgusted.

Five nodded. "Could work. Or we could all die horribly. I'm in."

"Excuse you?" Allison asked.

Fei pointed at the little black haired girl at Five's side. "Diana."
"No." He said. "No, way."

Five glared at his brother's. Sloane stepped forward, and said, "Why don't we ask Diana what she thinks about this?"

"Diana." The girl didn't answer. "Diana!"
Five stood in front of her, and grabbed her shoulders, staring at her eyes. "Wha—Diana!"
