13: honeymoon

Amethyst pov:

It's Cedric and Autumn's honeymoon.

They were really "nice" to invite me and Aiden.

Apparently they believed my excuse of pending work, but I still have to go with them.

But me and Aiden will come back after 2 or 3 days.

Here we are. At Maldives.

Yeah...

Amethyst, Amethyst! *faintly*.

"Amethyst!" Autumn shouts.

"Yeah,what?" I asked.

"Oh nothing... You were just standing there... For a long time" Autumn said.

"Oh yeah, sorry" I said.

We all went straight to a restaurant.

It was nice to try unique foods I have never tried before...

In my previous life I mostly only had instant noodles.

Then we went to the resort we had booked.

Of course they would book one single room for me and Aiden.

We then went out to different places and toured around.

We tried different snacks and cuisines.

Soon it became nighttime.

I and Aiden went to our room then we both freshened up. I went first.

It was time to sleep now!

Luckily the bed was huge. Also the sofa.

I kept staring at the bed and the sofa.

Aiden came out after bath. Now it was time to decide how to sleep.

I had decided to make a great sacrifice and let him sleep on the sofa.

But he arrogantly declined it.

"Are you serious? How could you let a woman sleep on the sofa when you sleep on the bed?" I argued.

"To be honest... I never have considered you as a woman" He said.

And he lays down on the bed.

I was boiling with rage.

"That's good then, you wouldn't mind me" I said and lays down next to Aiden.

"What do you think you are doing!?" He shouts and then sits up.

"What's wrong? You said it yourself I'm not a woman" I argued also sitting up.

"That's not what I... I knew you were shameless but never expected you to be this much shameless" He said.

"So?" That's all I said and goes to sleep.

I saw Aiden not going to sleep on the sofa. And he call me "shameless".

It was morning...

It seems that Aiden wakes up earlier than me.

I got out of bed. That's when I saw Aiden on the floor whining in pain.

"Bro... Why didn't you sleep on the sofa? It is much comfortable than the floor" I said.

"I wasn't sleeping on the floor! You kept kicking me all night! And do you know how much time you made me fall off the bed by kicking!?" He shouted.

I sheepishly smiled. "S-sorry" I apologized.
